How come people work as bus drivers and cashiers for 0.2 dollars an hour for 40 years until they die? To them crypto doesn't exist, they just go there, day in and day out 8 hours a day. It's even worse in countries like Portugal, Brazil, Bulgaria, Greece and you'll see these grandmas doing this. What goes inside their mind? Do they have dreams? I doubt they're doing it for their grandchildren since you can't build wealth on such a wage. What gives?

When people start thinking about this stuff it takes an event happening, such as a 500k SWE losing their job and now realizing they can’t find another 500k SWE job and that they need to start doing something like crypto with what they’ve made in order to maintain the equivalent of a 500k SWE job

Everything is grey and dilapidated here but at least people dress ok, I guess. Life is somewhat cheaper here at least, my rent is literaly 80 dollars a month, plus we have "free" shitty college education and shitty medical care. Salaries range between 250-350 USD a month average, though. Some people make a bit more. And I mean steady jobs- Imagine working 8 hours a day a whole month to have a measly 300 USD and a lot of debt by end of month. Plus, most likely you'll need a college degree to have a job. Funny thing is these people are somewhat the lucky ones here in Argentina. So much poverty overall in here
