on biz 70% of the threads are third worlders trying to trick you into giving them your money

when you do find a rare interesting thread, either it has 0 replies or half the replies are bot spam

i dont get it. even crypto twitter isn't this bad....

why did the jannies allow this place to go to absolute shit. do they profit from all the spam, like 4 chan passes?

Prior to the 2017 cycle, /biz/ was pretty solid. Dropshipping threads, small business threads, etc. There was always crypto too, but it was generally about making money no matter the method and wasn't entirely crypto.
After 2016 mods started banning crypto threads but only ones they felt like banning/didn't buy. In theory it'd cut down on the spam, but mods aren't alpha callers so it just made /biz/ unreliable since threads there weren't banned still weren't necessarily safe calls. It's why traffic has fallen off to /biz/ so hard and most good calls come from warpcast/tg now.
