A real insider. I've been in the room with Sergey at least 85 times in the last decade. Longer than Chainlink has been alive. Some people here are conspiracy theorists. I've read some wild shit, some wild shit has been passed to me. What's not true, is that you "weren't supposed to be in the club". That's actually the thing, you are supposed to, you were supposed to hold Chainlink. What you didn't know is that Chainlink was a cleverly designed mouse trap to trap a certain kind of person. An observant monkey who saw people become wealthy holding coins and tokens. "Well that should be me. But what's next?" This was obvious. As far back as 2016-2017, the trap was carefully placed. The ICO, all of the ETH you handed over. The early days, when BTC was still a small cap compared to the equities and bonds of yesterday.

All of it was a trap to suck up your money. Imagine if you had bought and held ETH all this time. BTC and ETH are Gold and Silver. You have been counting on bronze.

What you are probably wondering is, how was it a trap. Think about everything that's been "actioned" up to this point. Bancor, Celsius, Linkpool, Blockfi, all of the common "rugs". All pushed by Sergey as "web3" and "defi". Hosting Sam Bankman was not an accident, he invited him to speak to you. You've never got that "holy shit" moment that catapaulted your wealth to what Eth buyers got. Early Eth buyers own Web3. They own yachts. They own mansions and companies and can sign 100 ETH over like you "stake" 100 LINK, as in they don't think about it. Only, 100 ETH is closing in on half a million dollars. 100 LINK can't even pay your bills for a month. You aren't understanding, you're waiting for a train that will never arrive. By now, SWIFT would be priced in. Market cap 3-5 at the LEAST. LINK is not ETH. It's not SOL. It's not BTC. It's not designed to "go up". $52, think about that. That is the highest it's ever gone, while BTC has surged to ATH, LINK is not even 50% of its ATH. There is no value attached to the token.

Next lesson, banks will run private chains with gas baked in, and interoperability is a low value/zero sum game. There is no "millionaire minting" from holding a "universal gas". It's meant to be cheap and plentiful, one billion tokens hard coded instead of one hundred million or ten million. Why so many? They are like pesos, they will never be worth $100 or $500. They are meant to be low value.

Which brings me back to the ultimate lesson. Sergey has been running a shill operation on here since day 1. I remember some of the early threads, he made many of the classics. He had friends create memes. He tried to create a "guerilla marketing" campaign because he knew you would've moved on long ago if you knew the truth. Would you have held Link if you knew on March 25, 2024 it would be 19 dollars and 60 cents? 3 years ago, Link hit $50+.

Sergey no longer posts here. His friends have stopped the threads. That's why they feel different. You were given a chance 3-4 years ago to "own web3", all you had to do was sell for the Gold and Silver of crypto. Other projects like Solana and Avalanche were mere dollar tokens, and even the reddit crowd favorites have outperformed.

You missed the boat. The yacht. And life changing wealth. That was all by design. The sooner you leave this board behind, the sooner you'll start to make money. Trust me ;-)

This place is different from retail. Yes, the general public gave up on Link. For good reason, it was close to $30 on this date a few years ago. Most crypto has multiplied or gone up in the same time period.
