it's the ETH gas fee that has drastically reduced, the node operator fees are still the same, previously 99% of the tx fees were eth fees and the rest of 1% that were actually paying the nops were link fees.

it's the eth tx fee that diminished, it's a bad news for ETH, not for link, for link it means that nops have to pay less fees to have their tx submitted, so more profit for nops, in fact they can now increase their link fees and it wont be as expensive for clients, its extremely bullish for link
