Yeah thanks to the jews. A lot of jews make their living just flipping watches on margin. Watches mooned in 2021 from all the extra money floating around. People started going crazy and buying watches for investment but they crashed hard after the liquidity dried up.
If you buy a used rolex it's not gonna lose much value since usd constantly inflates.
Watches are pretty much the only acceptable men's jewelry for professional settings. Watches main purpose for men is just a status symbol like designer purses are for women.

Decent japanese mechanical watch brand. They have a few different models of dive watch named after different pointy fishies. Mine is the so-called Kamasu. Self winding and hand winding, hacking (ie second hand can be stopped during adjustment), and full-circle increments on the timing bezel. I got it for about $130 on Amazon sale but usually it's around $300.

Some good suggestions in this thread. Seiko, Orient. Something Japanese made is probably best. Depends on if you care bout having a mechanical watch or quartz (99% of normies will not know the difference and quartz keeps better time). There are way too many options and it all comes down to taste, but pic related (Seiko SNE039) is a decent one. Seiko 5 is a good series, more of a "diver" style. And you can always swap out bands for cheap from Alibaba. Those chinks actually make pretty good bands for $25 and it upgrades the cheapo watches a lot. Everything depends on your budget, though.

The MK looks a little big for your wrist. It's not a bad look but smaller would be better. Probably good for you to stay at 40mm or less case width.

Buy what you like but, that's a 32mm watch. It's very small, especially by today's standards for a men's watch. There aren't even many women's watches that small these days.

If you like that dress style, you can still find vintage omegas that are at least 38mm. It was and still is a popular brand, so parts are still available and you can get them serviced fairly easily.

Jaeger LeCoultre are the high end snobby brand of dress watches like that if you're looking to flex lol.
