part of how this cuckcoin works is that revenue on their various systems will increase substantially while the token remains the same price and/or dumps, bleeding against bitcoin and the larger market, and missing every single bull run. It is part of the cuck psychology that the holders love, watching the company itself build tech that captures large amounts of revenue but watching their token literally do nothing at all, because it is made to financially dominate them and pay for roastie HR salaries, not to pump. congrats cucks, you guys are probably really happy right now in your cage, im proud of you.

ok genuine question here.
we know that price gains based on FUNDAMENTAL value only (ie. excluding any speculation) hinges on CLLs pre-mined stash to run out so they can't subsidize the fees anymore and thus to pay the fees the protocols will have to actually buy LINK on the open-market. CLL themselves have laid out a timeline for when inflationary rewards (aka the pre-mined LINK holdings) will run out, which is in a few years. This timelime takes into account their belief that the Chainlink network will see enough usage at that point to be self-sustaining.
So my question is, IF for whatever reason CLL decides that they need to keep subsidizing rewards past that date, what's to stop them from increasing the LINK supply past 1billion? It's currently "hardcapped" but what disincentives/structural issues prevent them fron doing so?

If a company wants to deploy their protocol on mainnet with CCIP integrate, they can contact Chainlink to get whitelisted right now.

General Access isn't going to change the price. Usage does.

>> No.57984695

>>57984634
this is a good point. Also, they will drag it out longer than two years because after two years they will have nothing to release still, so they will just slowly decrease the dumps and the bleed will slow down. Probably in more like 20 years will there ever be the possibility that funds will have run out, and by then the company will be so dead that nothing matters anyway.

Sergey owns 50% of the supply and dumps aggressively, the token will reach top 5 but still be $20 because he's just dumping billions.

Other projects like AVAX have inflation from unlocks/staking. They don't have literal market dumps from the CEO with 50% of the supply unlocked in his wallet.

it's funny the peace this place allows you to achieve if you can subject yourself to the ocean of piss long enough. there's gold down here, and not all of it is just because of the color imparted to it by the dehydrated piss you have to swim through to find it. thank god i found this place before the internet jumped the shark and before LINK became popular. the screeching, seething nulinkers that fud to the best of their extremely limited ability are just entertainment while i wait now, whereas if i didn't already have several makeit stacks they may actually be frustrating.

because the network is being fully subsidized and will be for the next several decades, at which point it will have bled so much in sats and USD that you would be better off parking your money in literally anything else. Link will not even keep up with inflation over the next several decades. it will trend towards ico level prices as it serves zero purpose. It doesnt matter how much revenue CLL produces. Don't believe me? Look at the revenue and the chart. There is now enough data to show a correlation. Revenue goes up, price crabs/bleeds/goes down.

Nothing, they have no real physical address, You could bitch to the Caymen Island Gov, but they'll tell you to fuck off. Back to your question, they can do whatever they want, they are not beholden to any share holder laws, really any laws unless they piss off the US GOV, then it's over.

Chainlink don't subsidise the nodes for everything though. CCIP usage will be paid for by whomever is using it. The amount this will generate is likely to be vast.
