I've stacking for the past three years. I'm a poorfag though, so progress has been agonizingly slow.

But, to all the other poors out there, you don't need much to get started. Honestly, buy a silver round every paycheck and before you know it, you'll have yourself a healthy little stack.

I'm currently sitting on a little over 1oz Au, and 120 Ag. I'll probably never stop stacking, nor should you, but my goal is to have at least 7oz Au and 700oz Ag, based on my family size. Admittedly, my goal amount is arbitrary at best, but you need to set goals to keep yourself on track.

I bought a little pelican case for my metals and, while it's certainly strong enough (these cases are built really well), it doesn't hold all my metal. What does everybody use? Safe/strongbox/ammo can, etc.? The pelican cases are nice, but I don't want to spend 200 dollars for a decent sized case...I see some people using wooden chests but can't find anything built well enough to even hold that weight, let along transport it if needed.

I can't tell if this is fud spam-bot or someone who genuinely doesn't understand how these systems work. Even if things end up in "financial armageddon," you're no better off than anyone else with fiat or property purchased with fiat prior to the collapse. Your argument that you're already set up doesn't mean anything because your solution of withdrawing from society and relying solely on what you collected prior to collapse is wholly unrealistic. And in that scenario, what you will most likely be trading with will be the same items that have been traded for all of recorded history, gold/silver/food/pussy/etc. Fiat isn't new, but fiat has never been traded in these financial catastrphes. Blockchain is new, but there's no guarantee anyone will be able to trade with it in these scenarios either. At best, trading with crypto will be unreliable, as it's entirely dependent on a functioning electrical grid.

Also, we don't all stack for the express purpose of surviving armageddon. Most of us don't, actually. And to assume we have ALL our eggs in the precious metals basket means you haven't really thought this through. If you were to put all your eggs in Bitcoin, then you're a slave to the fiat/Bitcoin market. If you were to put all your eggs in the food/ammunition basket, then all your wealth is contingent upon societal collapse. and every year it doesn't, you'd simply be holding bags.

Diversifying into as much as you reasonably can makes sense. Having some BTC/Crypto, fiat, PMs, Survival Supplies/Food/Ammo, real property (land), all makes sense. Making fun of those that enjoy PMs doesn't.

I would consider a precipitous drop in your purchasing power to be tantamount to financial argmageddon. Basic monetary history 101 shows that holding the gold was beneficial to owning the CLAIMS to gold. It was a permament revaluation that occurred and people were losers/winners in direct proportion to their holdings.
The best way to disperse pressure is over a large area, and the way to spread economic losses is through the currency. The dollar is what is going to be suffering and physical goods will be resilient to dilution. However they will still be subject to the loss of purchasing power of credit.
I think you're far too hung up on "Armageddon" but you are also discounting the exponential nature of losses that are accruing with these debts and obligations. This isn't just going to be a minor magnitude worse than the great depression. But just like the scale of an earthquake it will be on orders of magnitude worse.

I'm a minimalistic old dude when it comes to backgrounds and such, i still have flashbacks to the clusterfuck that was the 'marecoin' and the muddled mess of an obverse it ended up with.

That being said, if the coins were actually hand cut, your design would work better, the dull finish from the cnc/laser is hard to have crisp distinction on details (imo)
