Read the book this last week. It’s incredible and 100% proof that Ari has been lurking this board for years. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s posted breadcrumbs for us over the years as well.

Just want to let you know Ari, that I’ve accumulated 10k link all without ever having read a single line of the white paper or white paper v2 and have genuinely only invested because of the memes. The cute blue and white cube, and Sergey.

He definitely has posted and an anon identified him. Not reading the OP as I have the book on my table right now, but someone should make a "The Oracle book club thread next week.

>> No.57825242

>>57825204
the oracle just asks the LLM if the calling card is mentioned in the public details of the crime. it doesn't verify whether the LLM is correct in its assessment

what if the LLM figures out that its fake news?

>> No.57825269

>>57825242
also if you were to fake it for every person and every event then the news would quickly turn into even more fake news than they are now and making them entirely useless.
they could also add a timer or something like that, so if the guy ever shows up in public again it resets.

>> No.57825319

>>57825254

>>57825269
>turn into even more fake news
I doubt the media will care when they get to farm money from criminals and prevent crimes in the process
>it resets
they're gonna run out of money real fast

>> No.57825488

>>57825319
>I doubt the media will care
what if every media outlet wants to claim the bounty through fake news and they basically disagree on how it happened?
the LLM could detect that.
so basically all media outlets on the whitelist have to agree which would he impossible if the set of sources is big enough.
>I doubt the media will care
of course they would because eventually every media site would be full on fake news. real news would become impossible as you could extend this far beyond assassination.
>they're gonna run out of money real fast
what if there is a timer that the contract has to stay active for a minimum amount of time?
even if you end up cashing the money in without killing him for real the hit would still be out and anyone could still try.
also maybe a ramp up period so it doesnt pay out all at once instantly.
if the guy shows up anywhere again and an oracle registers it then contract stops paying out.

>> No.57825564

>>57825488
if it's impossible to reach consensus then it's impossible for anyone to claim a bounty at all, rendering the system useless anyway. in practice, rather than becoming a sea of (faker) news, these bounty attempts would be quite rare and perhaps would come with the elaborate safeguards you've described, but coordination could defeat any of them, especially if you recall that media companies can all be traced back to a very small set of owners. the concern here, as with any subjective oracle that will be placing its trust in the news, is the fact that media is in fact so centralized

>> No.57825597

>>57823694
Discord/telegram forced meme. Ignore it, like everything else from non-anon sources.

>> No.57825669

>>57825564
>if it's impossible to reach consensus
only for the fake news tho, every media company would want to cash in the entire bounty for themselves so they would only report about their own calling card.
also the bounty might even be too low for all these media companies to bother with.
like 100k is more than enough for a hit, but 100k divided through 20 is literally nothing.
they could also utilize all kinds of other oracles besides media to make cooperation even more difficult.
maybe even use media from other countries, like good luck getting the chinese or Russians to cooperate with you.
