I used to sell up to hundreds of scratchers a day at a gas station. I had 3 winners of $200 who dumped $100 or more in that visit alone, among the many hundreds they spent over the course of my time working there. Your odds are closer to 1/200 for a decent prize. The 1/3 is just a "free scratcher" or "you get your $5 back." My customers would buy me scratchers and I got ONE"winning" $15 ticket after all of my time working there. Don't do it.

I would buy them if the odds were about the same but they're not. I'd gladly go to casino as well because I like to gamble. But all those organized gambling establishments are way bigger scams than the market, unfortunately.
