The public is dumping, en masse, their #gold and #silver in my store. I have:

-Purchased entire estate sales many times over
-All the gold necklaces in Texas now belong to me
-More junk silver than I realized possibly existed

The middle class is just dead-ass broke. The economic crash is HERE RIGHT NOW.

Billions of ounces will be liquidated and silver merchants are being flooded with garbage rocks right now. At some point, after 2030, silver will go up again, perhaps

It's joever frens... i broke my super tiny greek hematetartemirion (0.1g) trying to scrap dirt from it with a toothpick.
It was inevitable as i was forcing like a retard, but i've never seen dirt so tenacious and it was getting on my nerves. I even used silverware polish out of frustration. I feel like a monster, destroying 2500yo artifacts like an ISIS faggot.

Is there some kind of very tiny glue i can use to fix it up (it's a corner who broke away)? I tried to use one i had left in the fridge, but the drop of glue was larger than the coin and coated it entirely...

Would you vacuum these vintage type bars that already have deep toning? Up until recently I only collected modern coins and rounds, so I haven't decided yet how to store these long term. The LSS bar for example has a deep, rainbow tone that I would like to both preserve and encourage it to continue.

I would. The sealing would pretty much freeze the condition as it is. Then I could handle it without fear of adding my own marks, or stack with more assurance there's a tiny bit of padding to prevent new nicks and scratches. For my larger bars, I leave an open flap at one end and fold that over and tape shut, with a folded-over tab on the tape so I can open the plastic and take the bar out for photography. I don't have a pic offhand, but I'll take one if you need.

Thanks! That is a good idea. I already have the vacuum sealer.

I inadvertently did an experiment with this bar. I forgot about it and left it in a box under my bed for 3 years, sitting halfway outside of this bag. What's perplexing to me is that the bag isn't even remotely tight around the bar; there is a gap big enough to fit 3 fingers in, but despite that, there is not even a hint of tarnish on the part that was loosely covered.

I fail to see your point. Shinies in the OP, always. That's tradition, and makes it easier to pic out from other threads in the catalog, without having to use the search function. Webms can be posted within the thread, yes?
Whenever newfags start baking, they fuck things up. No shinies, split threads, early bakes.

Newfags need to lurk and learn, not bake.

Early fractionals are always the best way to get your feet wet, and it's always good to have fractionals. I pitty the stackers who only buy 1toz+ gold and mostly kilo silver bars. Gotta have at least some 1/4toz gold and 1toz silver, maybe some 1/10 gold and 1/4toz silver also if you want to stick to only a limited amount of sizes. I go extremes though because I enjoy stretching the limits of each hobby I get into.

What's up with all the meme metal silver on here? It's a terrible metal, it tarnishes from air/humidity and its an industrial metal so if the dollar collapses, so will silver. Central banks around the world are hoarding gold, not silver. There's only one shiny metal that hold value over time and history and once you have an ounce you'll realize why. Gold is not an investment, it's an insurance and hedge against your investments. I have 90% of my net worth invested in stocks and real estate and 10% in gold. If the stock market were to collapse, I know my gold still hold value. That's the difference between gold and silver stackers. Gold stackers have already made it and want to protect themselves. Silver stackers fell for the meme and think they're going to get rich off an industrial metal.

I know it's anecdotal but I could sell mine for spot when and if I wanted to. I hear anons have good success selling on plebbit for more than spot too.

Yup. I can't understand why anyone would be all into one and shit on the other unless they are trying to create conflict. Silver and gold have been partners for so long that the first coins in the history of the world were literally an alloy of silver and gold called electrum.

Worked at a fab/machine shop in my younger years. Worked on stuff that I wasn't allowed to take pictures of. Nowadays I like restoring cast iron stuff. When I was a kid I wanted to be a blacksmith when I grew up. Metals of all kinds have influenced mankind in profound ways. Those of us that stay the course, metals will change our lives. Keep on stacking, frens.

Gonna see what i can buy at the locao flea market. Id say 1 out of 4 of the vendors take silver, and that 1 out of 4 happens to also be the same group that sells cool stuff. The ones that dont are like the 4eigners n stuff. Theres a viet coin collector and some latvian dude that accept minecraft notes for coins if i buy something else from them. Last week or 2 weeks ago i bought a meat cleaver for 10 bucks then used my minecraft printed currency to buy some bronze 20 centavo coins, weighing in about 3 pennyweights each (pennyweight is 1/10th troy oz)
