Here's an example of an AI product that has real time savings for a working professional. Instead of having to hand animate, create key frames, etc a 3d model to track a reference actor, you can instead have AI track the person, their facial expressions, etc and map that to a properly rigged 3D model.
An example video I saw had the artist only having to make the blend shapes for the model, then tell the software where the actor it was tracking was in each shot. Then it would track them, replace them with the model, and blend out the shot so the model fit into the scene (and didn't simply try to overlay the image of the actor).
In the video I watched, the professional animator said it would have taken him about a week to do what he did in a single day using that sort of technology.
