Schizo paper aside, ICP will be important as it removes the biggest problem plaguing web2; platform risk.
Currently, if you want to launch a website or application, you have a handful of webhosts to choose from, and if they dont like something about your content, you lose your host. The big3 are notorious and all very similar in their godawful TOS’s. The smaller ones will take the risk, but it costs a metric fuckload of money.
This has stifled innovation, and decayed the internet writ large. So ICP will have a massive future as the only way to get back to an internet of the breadth that existed prior to 2010, would be to make webhosting divorced from corpo HR handbooks. Thats what ICP does.
Imagine if things like DNS wasnt a protocol, and instead was corporate owned.
You’d have to buy domains from every silo’d major website in order to reach any consumers. You’d have shit like mywebsite.twitter.com, mywebsite.meta.com, mywebsite.google.com, mywebsite.amazon.com, etc.
Then within that globohomo landscape you’d have to pay high pricing for that singular domain (subject to price increase discretion of the host as well as how much rent seeking they think they can squeeze from you) and then pay revenue to get listed in searches, and pay even more to make it anywhere near the top of those searches.
It would be an absolute clusterfuck and a half.

Luckily ICP says fuck all this noise, webhosting will be a protocol, and wont be subject to the whims of jewish interests.


Lastly; AI cannot into abstracts. Its bad at niche trend recognition. If a young guy notices a potential gap that may arise in a niche area of their interests, because of their ability to piece together several unrelated things that might result in a potential of an opportunity; AI will miss it completely.

Example; AI would not have known to short south american banana companies based on; ukraine war/tensions with ecuador/russian supply lines/etc.
