nta. The drawdown was due to rate raises. But the consequences of those (economic slowdown) got hidden by a ridiculous Treasury spending spree which more than offset the Fed's tightening. Treasury payed more than 1.5 dollars for every dollar of growth. If you wanna know how the economy would have looked without pumping GDP numbers with deficit spending look to Germany.
This spending spree won't go on, mostly due to political reasons of the upcoming election. In fact QRA made it clear already that goverment spending will wind down. And this comes on the backdrop of a reacceleration of services inflation which will bind the Fed's hands.

I saw the margin and thought from that it would be a position of a specific size, but no the margin changes drastically with the strike thus all positions were of equal size which I realized too late and thus overleveraged hard. I had positions prior to that (2+1), closed the 1 and then reopened. I wanted to long more, but instead of 3x1 long positions I actually did 3x2. Thus overleveraging hard right into the dump of yesterday. Then hedged almost at the bottom, but not enough, ironically cause we gigadumped just another time HAHA

Sure, but interest rates are increasing. Is the long bond market going to ask the FED to hike, or are they going to go ahead with the cuts and lose the long end of the yield curve. Both of these scenarios put pressure on the stock market. Even though inflation came down interest rates still went up. The bond market doesn't believe it.

I think all my trades suck, every time I have a new trade I get deep red so I constantly feel like I'm losing my touch but they end up in the green, and it works because I buy commodities cheap enough so I can baghold through any futher dump (except this time). My previous trade was pretty similar, I bought Soγbean Oil because I thought it was getting cheap, then it got much cheaper and I held my bags and closed all my tranches in the green. I get big drawdowns and end up with modest gains, somehow I can't do better than this. So I think the conclusion is that my system works during normal movements but not so when an already cheap commodity gigadumps to an all-time low. At least I actually stuck to my program of buying NatGas for cheap (I'm not ashamed that I started at $2.01), didn't help that unlike most times I didn't think carefully about the price and size of my tranches.

Fucked myself too with that. Even doubled my loss in one day. Would not have lost yet if I didn't do the bullshit I did. I even closed my other 1k loss myself after being liquidated on my 1k highleverage bullshit. I might have not lost anything if I didn't overleverage and were willing to put that money into my CFD 1k trade. Pretty fuckin stupid and ironic, literally the worst thing happened.

Also know those huge drawdown trades, I tend to have these too.

Such a retarded take. Incentivize marrying and child rearing. Provide support. But that is a fantasy. The US government would rather support Zionism and its NATO interests instead of doing something constructive.

You lose about $1/year per contract due to contango, waiting longer might not help.

We lump them together but commodities each have their own rules (think how NVDA, KO, and LLAP are all technically "equities" - would you trade them the same?)

Nat gas is (outside of slow, stepwise increases in LNG export capacity) domestic to the US, reliant on wildly fluctuating weather forecasts, and in massive oversupply due to oil producers now having to capture more of it rather than just flaring. Add in El Nino and this isn't "farmers will plant fewer basedbeans because they can make more with corn", it's the sort of thing where things might not stabilize until the negative $/mmbtu reaches equilibrium with EPA fines.

Ironically it will probably be the bottom. Man I'm still annoyed at myself for overleveraging like a retard not knowing what I was doing. My 1k account with long would have had -530€ less if I just kept the positions I opened on friday, but no, I had to play around and make it 3x worse. Only after I opened the position I realized
>Wait, previously I was making or losing 3,75€ per pip
>now it is 10€, oh fugg

Watch it pump tomorrow til 1800, lol, all lost for nothing.

Hey. /biz/. A bunch of insiders at SMCI just filed a bunch of Form 4's. The transaction codes are M and F on every single one.

M – Exercise or conversion of derivative security exempted pursuant to Rule 16b-3
F – Payment of exercise price or tax liability by delivering or withholding securities incident to the receipt, exercise or vesting of a security issued in accordance with Rule 16b-3

So much the Internet tells me, but I am still none the wiser. What the bloody mortal fuck is a derivative security and how do you exercise or convert it? are they buying shit or selling shit? Anybody know...?
