Yes but its not their money, there's no reason to take more of it. They've already taxed it on several other levels. The business that paid it to me has been taxed at the income level, sales, property, local business, registration, license, and several other levels. Only to then have me taxed at my income level federal state and FICA, plus property tax for the things I bought (and already paid tax on by the way), oh and sales tax for my already taxed income to be taxed again when I use it to buy shit like food. My ability to pay the tax does not justify its undue burden. Think about the average persons contributions to social security. You'll pay over 400K into social security before you get to claim it back, you're likely to receive closer to 380K in total benefits. This is money 30 fucking years later that you're receiving less of. Oh and guess what? When you get it, its gonna be taxed :^). That same money in even a 5% appreciation annually is going to be worth like 4x what you get before taxes. That doesn't bother you to be fucking stolen from 10 different ways?
