Does this have a future?
And by future I mean $100-$150 future

>> No.5740368

>>5740222
It won't go that high because of the supply. I will tell you that I bought $400 worth of those fuckers a month ago which is now worth $2000 give or take. Its release is in a month. At an ATH of 10 cents you are looking for 1000x returns which very few coins have every done.

>> No.5740389

If some big casinos/bookmakers actually adopt it then they will need to buy a huge portion of the supply to pay the customers. This will make it rocket but is also wishful thinking with every man and his dog making his own shitcoin.
Gambling is here to stay how ever so let's just hope Funfair is future proof (i.e. Will still be around in 5+ years)

It will go high but not that high

By their own estimation, online gambing is a 42 billion dollar market, so if it only captures 1% of that, that's 420 million which is close to the market cap right now. Of course, market cap is not on a one-to-one correspondence with the amount of the online gambling sector that FunFair has captured, but it should be somewhat close.

I suspect they'll capture maybe 5-10% of the online gambling market, which is still huge and an easy 5x-10x

>> No.5740653

The probability that FUN goes 10x in Q1 2018 is far more likely than ETH going 2x in the same period. The probability of losing money on either one is about equal, FUN might be more risky, but the expected value of the return makes up for it.

>> No.5740668

$100-150 or even $30 is pretty unlikely. Unless the entire market goes well into the trillions. But $1-2 is entirely reasonable.

Unlikely, unless it gets picked up by many large casinos and gambling sites and becomes the industry standard crypto currency. I can see it going for at least $1 within the next year though.

Aren't there people who have like 500,000 of this coin? There's no way it'll ever hit $100. No one is going to make $50 million from one coin.

Try living off of $20k and see how far you go. That's half my salary before taxes, but i have it in one lump sum. It's not much when you have $50k in debt. I'd need to hit like $70-80k to cash out due to capital gains and whatnot.

>> No.5742803

>>5742122
You're right that it will never hit $100, but reaching $1 is pretty realistic.

The operating costs of running a FunFair casino will be considerably lower than a traditional online casino (hosting gambling servers, number of employees required for maintaining operation). Also, there are many people who will want to play at an online casino that they know they can trust to be provably-fair, which means more business for the casino. Also, just look at how many gambling degenerates are involved in crypto, they are going to at least try out FunFair games when they go live.

How high do you guys see DBC going?

>> No.5743140

>>5742257
It's not just because it's marketed as a gambling coin. It's about provably fair games using smart contracts. People will trust online casinos more if they can prove they aren't rigging the games.

>> No.5743420

>>5742988
I dunno to be honest. The AI thing is hard to really even speculate on. Personally, I'm confident it'll go over $1 per coin and that'll be 10x returns for me so I'll sell somewhere there. If it goes higher than that quickly, then maybe I'll hold to $2
