How are some people so social? I work with a guy that will talk to literally anyone and hit it off, he just talks to anyone and moves in and out of any social group, he even gets along with me and I don't like people.

>act interested and excited to see literally everyone
>keyword act, 24/7
>remember things about people, bring it up later
everyone will fucking love you
im intelligent enough to see through the people that do this as a means of social manipulation, even though often they aren't cognizant of their behavior pattern themselves and are doing it in a feedback loop of having at some point realized their social status improved by behaving this way - and even I can't help but engage and enjoy these people.

those are the first steps, to compound them
>dont let people hear you complain
>dont talk shit on anyone
>when you feel tempted to talk shit, instead, find someone else and say something nice about them or to them
this is all disingenuous as fuck, doesn't matter if you're doing it all totally aware or not, its social manipulation regardless. But it will make everyone want to be your friend. Being fit and healthy looking makes it all even more effective.

they are called "extraverts" they are soulless people that thrive off other's recognition, if they take a moment to introspect they get very sad :(
they wish they could be content with themselves as much as I or you wish we could be content socialising.

they are useful people but are never your friend, which is another thing that upsets them, they also struggle in romantic relationships that obviously require a deeper connection which they are unable to sustain.

so don't put them on a pedestal too much, we all have our preferences and everyone wants to be something they're not. all you can do is keep developing yourself :)

checked. thats me anon. i can do that with anyone. its about reading facial expressions, and largely mimicking someones behaviour and body language.
example:
nerdy asian kid at work--from a good family, very smart, highly conservative, but does not like to be in big crowds. so i mimick his body language and never really point my body directly towards him, and ask him about his family and how work is going for him. now he comes to my office just to chill sometimes. you should avoid smiling excessively to these types of people.

another example, typical whore:
you should sneak in some subtle compliments like "hey nice job on ____" and give the "white guy smile" and be outgoing and bubbly. thats how they are, just mirror what you see but never over do it.
also, you shouldnt really speak about yourself so much, you should prompt others to tell them what is on their mind.
there is some free advice anon, ive never read any of those books about PUA or nonsense, this is all just learned behavior.

I have charisma but it's different, it's more the "mysterious" kinda thing, because I don't talk much people can't figure me out, people also like the fact that I'm respectful and well spoken also. This actually attracts women when you seem to genuinely not have any interest in them and yet seem confident at the same time. However some people see you as arrogant when they don't even know you, just because you don't talk to them. I've been looked at as a potential leader since I was in school. However on the inside all I want to be is left alone and for me probably 90% of interaction is painful.

I’m that guy and it’s called empathy. To me it’s super obvious how people are feeling and people just feel dumb to me with how unaware they are of other people’s and usually also their own emotions. But then again i know that’s how people good at math feel about people that aren’t good at math.

The most basic truth in why i am able to operate so good with other people is the rather nihilistic fact that we are all the same. You aren’t special or better than others, and neither is the other guy. Hating other people is dumb because we are all similiar and you have your own set of bad traits. There is no ”you” and the ”others”. Once again you aren’t special or much different from everybody else. Once you realise this it’s easy to be pleasent to other people because we all basically like the same shit.

those people, along with nosy karens, hold civilization together. being anti-social is a bad thing, humans are social animals.

"introversion" is just narcissism, which is anti-social self preservation behavior. modern society cultivates this quality in people, and this cultivation accelerated exponentially with social media.

Nah, introversion is just a downspiral. The more time you spend alone, the more nervous you become, and the harder breaking out of the shell becomes. Your poor take doesn't consider the fact that a good chunk of introverts wish deep down that they had more confidence and could socialize with everyone. Maybe you're referring to a particular fringe category of introverts, but I'd say a majority were born just naturally being shy and quiet

I recently started a job at a big warehouse with thousands of employees, you get put in a team with like 20 people, they value your social interactions with your team almost as much as your work. Recently the team leader came to me and told me my work is lacking, i dont show enthusiasm and i dont really fit in the group. I feel miserable and get anxiety just driving to that place at 5 in the morning and struggle to put a smile on my face.

Then there are people all cheerful and excited at a time a normal human being would be asleep, they look so happy to be stuck in this prison, doing repetitive tasks for almost minimum wage for 8 hours a day... I will never understand.
