>They unironically believe the fucking SEC doesnt protect its henchmen with every single method of security imaginable and then some
They probably are in bed with twitter for some sort of experimental quantum computer-powered encryption protector or some shit. Don't be fucking stupid this was all bait to test the waters.

if passwords were that easy to hack why dont they just steal everybodies everything like in exchanges and stuff? surely their password wasnt so bad was it?

>>57238955
2FA instantly makes things more difficult and most things have it enabled by default. Even requiring e-mail verification is a type of involuntary 2FA, as hacking e-mails in this day and age is incredibly difficult (unless it's a retarded domain susceptible to SE, or a really old email with no security questions added).

Tl;dr: it's hard

it's more likely the SEC twitter is shared to be controlled by multiple people so it follows the law of the slowest moving ship, they gave the simplest password that the biggest retard of everyone who would be in control could understand

>> No.57239285

>>57239118
knowing a twitter password alone won't get you into an account in most cases if you're logging in from a new IP
