How do people lose money in crypto really?
>started in October
>people shilled sol so I bought $5k worth
>put 5k in btc because it’s btc
>sol went from 20 to 120 but I sold at 117 when it started dumping again so made out with just about ~29k
>put that in btc the other day
>added the last few k to get a whole btc
That’s it right? You just pick a proven pumper and then move the winnings into a stable like eth or btc? (Or chainlink lmao fucker can’t pump)
Next I’ll take 5k into Polkadot since it hasn’t had a good pump yet. Then I’ll move that into btc once it’s pumped. And btc is sure to pump in the next year so it’s all smooth sailing from here I think. The trick is to just look away from the markets for a few days at a time so you’re not constantly
Worried about dumps and pumps, and to just take profit.

I’m buying pic related after the bull run is over.

most people are too impulsive to make good decisions about what to dump into, especially the kind that end up blogposting about the losses on here
it's not difficult to win at but the majority of humans are retarded

I figured, something like buying link at 14 because of fomo and then it craps for 2 months and they sell at a loss worried about missing out on another gigapump while their coin is bleeding. Really seems like the trick is to just look away from your portfolio so you don’t freak out every pump or dump.

yeah that's exactly what i do, i don't have a lot of money to put into this stuff yet but once i buy a coin i just leave it be and don't pay attention to the price 24/7, unless it's some shitty memecoin that won't last over a week of course
just make reasonable decisions about it and you'll do fine lol

people shilled a lot of shit that crashed, too.

don't confuse luck with thinking you're some trading genius
too many /biz/ bros have lost huge stacks because they got cocky

It seems at least in the current market that it’s impossible to make a bad choice if you stick to the top performers. 5k in icp link Ada algo dot even fucking uni and matic would make a lot of money but yes I got lucky picking the best one.

Congratulations on "making" money in a bull run you fucking retard. Nearly everybody is up and you've barely gained anything. I'm retiring early after the bull run is over.

>bought safeb00nk at 1m mc.
>crashes to 250k mc
I don't have high starting capital, so BTC/ETH etc aren't worth the investment time for me. I don't want to turn 1k to 2k in 6 months, I'd like to turn 1k into 40k or some shit.
