no he didn't buy any, the creator donated a big bag of it to the trump nft address probably to stave off the lawsuits, or to create a joint enterprise if you wanna look at it charitably

fact is that trump would make a fuck load more money if he just rolls with it than if he gets litigious. if eric trump is dumb enough to try to shudditdown then a shitload of other trump coins will get pumped which he won't benefit from, so the game theoretical optimum from the trump estate is to simply shut the fuck up and let it ride, they're some of the most mid business people known to man though so I'm not super confident they'll realise this
