The typical price is around £200 for the eBay ones. Though assuming he has some left they’ll likely be on the $250 -400 on his website. There’s a few resellers who buy like 10 to sell.

Mine should arrive today based on tracking. It stops updating once it gets to the UK because UPS is taken over by parcel force or something local.

As I recall the "standard" for the 1/10,000th part that isn't gold in their .9999 purity requirement is 50/50 copper and silver but Perth just "doped" their .99999+ with silver. Chang is crying about the 3 ounces of impurity per 32,151 troy ounce metric tonne being all silver instead of a lower value coppery mix. Choosing that nothingburger hill to die on is indicative of low-IQ and homosexuality, there are plenty of good reasons to dislike Perth Mint but that isn't one of 'em.

That's a lot of premium. If you're not concerned about the declaring face value across us border stuff, smaller gold bars would probably be a lot cheaper. Silver has more of a real world trading value and moonshot potential as well, so if you don't hold any, definitely grab some. GSM has Indian head silver 1oz rounds for $1.05 over spot and cheap fractionals rn. 5-20 gram gold bars will run between $3-5/gram over spot at most of the better dealers, and Costco is still running pm deals if you can catch them.

Nice, how much did ya pay? The bottom right coin looks like one of the popular 267-268 AD Gallienus "Zoo" antoninianii; panther/lioness facing left, Siscia mint (Sisak, Croatia nowadays). I have a hard time believing my local shop actually carried authentic ancient Roman or Greek silver coins.
Why? I just have a hard time believing anyone without a large online platform isn't trying to squeeze an un authentic buck out of you, aka localized reputation can go unchallenged as opposed to an online platform that can sink without reputation.

Where should I go for any midevil Japanese or ancient Roman silver coins? I would love a Kingdom of Epirus coin pre-Alexander or post Alexander.

Not sure about walmart, they mostly sell to the very poor. But Costco and Sam's Club both carry much more expensive items because their clientele is about a million times wealthier than the average Walmart shopper.

If you get the chance compare jewelry at Walmart and Sam's Club, you'll see what I mean. Walmart is for crackheads, Sam's is aiming at millionaires.

As someone that also spends a lot on precious metals, you're a lying lil shill, faggot. No one with even two brain cells does monthly online orders to the tune of $10K every month. Shippers would be "losing" metal left and right and make filing reimbursement reports for lost shipments just as regular of a monthly thing as buying it. Not to mention the security exposure with everyone and their mother seeing that you're shipping boxes obviously full of precious metals worth tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands eventually, to your home on a regular basis. Expect a visit from your friendly regional thief sooner or later. Those types either do regular trips to the coin shops, unlikely, or take delivery on comex orders before sending them to a vault (or their home). And assuming that's a regular monthly thing, they throw the cash in treasuries or other interest-accruing vehicles before pulling it when they have enough to take delivery on an entire comex order from the warehouse. anything over $1k I'm shipping insured and signature required anyways. So I don't care if it gets lost or stolen, I get paid either way. I can sell it to a customer or sell it to a thief, I get paid either way.

but in my experience if a mailman fucks up it will be delivering to the wrong address, not stealing. That happens sometimes. Theft is almost always the customer, not the mailman. And again, it's insured and signed for, so it's not my problem. That's a problem for the insurance company and the cops. Literally none of my concern.

Nah, don’t spread disinformation. The resident tranny janny here uses a VPN to derail these threads and ban stackers. Pretty obvious to anyone who’s been around a few years.

I'm completely unfamiliar with these Russian coins, what's on the other side? If it's .9 ozt then $23 sounds like a good deal for something that I'd imagine sells for at least a modest collector premium.

You can lead a horse to water scenario. I still win because I have silver. Either they take my advice, or never buy silver. Either way you don't shit talk someone who helps you move multiple times. Them playing the victim when I called them out was what set me off.

Should I save up for a 100toz loaf to buy the one guy's house in the future when he can't afford it? He didn't sign a prenup like a dumbass and complained always that he missed the days when he could save a mere $500.

You don't understand the meaning of counterparty risk. The gold and silver I hold in my hand has ALL of its value in its atomic structure. Nobody can do anything to undermine that as long as it is in my possession. Not true with fiat cash, bank accounts, stock, crypto, etc. etc. etc. Even land is taxed and belongs to you only because the government recording office says it does.

It's always really impressive to see the treasures you regularly pull from your job at the recycling mill, I never would have expected PMs to be such a common find and still don't really understand why it gets mixed up with paper/cardboard so often. The square 14k thing you're calling a pendant actually appears to be an Elgin Watch co wristwatch case, probably 1950s or earlier. Have you been saving everything or are you selling it? If you're hoarding it I'd love to see a pic of your current stack of mangled goodies.

No one cares if you SELL fake coins on eBay. I highly doubt us customs is investigating a few dozen fake coins purchased from China lol.

That shit is probably below fake watches on their list of investigative concerns. The bulk of our consumer goods are imported from china, like thousands of shipping containers everyday. Where do you think all the Glock switches the disenfranchised youth are so fond of come from? There's no feasible way to enforce that sorta stuff and besides, possession of contraband with no intent to distribute isn't prosecuted unless the object itself also violates a criminal code.
