Yes, but, for example the Perth Mint only makes platinum Koalas and Kooks in the 1/10 oz size (aside from anniversary editions) so they're pretty easy to collect.

Stop putting yourself down. You're probably more intelligent than 99% of the public and you should be more confident in yourself.
Great stack btw.

General Life Advice:
>don't care too much what society or family/friends think of you
>your peace of mind and wellbeing is the most important thing in the world

I've hit 200oz of silver so I want to slow down to maybe to 10oz a month. I'd like to get into gold, specifically sovereigns but worried about the current gold price. Is it worth getting into gold no matter the price? Or wait for it to start dipping? I'd probably be buying 1-2 sovereigns a month.

I do this as more of a hobby rather than preparing for a collapse or investing in the future. Not too worried about saving for the future as I have family wealth (property, land and cash).

As much as the goldbugs are correct about money and debts. If the currency stays relatively stable and the banks can keep pumping in credit and the rest of the world keeps selling us their exports the can can be kicked for a long time. It will be the exponential nature of debt that will ultimately be what kills this thing.

Yeah MS is "mint state". This particular rm probably has the smallest number of nicks from the ones I have, but I wasn't 100% sure if there was an issue with the luster. RMs seem to have insane luster when they're in good condition, like an older libertad or something like that. The luster on this one isn't so "laser-like", where you can see a super defined light line across the entire body of the coin, so I wasn't sure if it was possibly cleaned.

>Where do all of the detector anons live that you can just wonder around on other people's land and dig a bunch of holes without getting shot or sued?
Colorado

how it works is if you don't want people on your land you have to put up fences and signs. Most people don't do that. Also you have to actually live on the land if you plan on shooting anyone, and most people also don't do that.

So I can probably get away with trespassing on land belonging to someone that doesn't live here, and who didn't put up any notice that they didn't want people on their land. Because other people are using their land all the time for dog walking or shooting or biking or running on or whatever, and they're gonna have a hard time saying it's fine if people trespass for one use but not another.

for these reasons I have spent much of my adult life trespassing, and have never gotten sued or shot at for it. Just like you're not going to get sued or shot at for riding the mountain bike trails around my town, even though you'll be trespassing the entire time.

Someone can't read.
The kilo bars that the Chinese accused Perth of doping were, in fact, 99.99 gold, the .01 that contained copper and silver had a higher amount of silver than copper. The Chinese tried to use that as leverage to fuck Perth. So Perth changed thier standards from 99.992 which is the industry standard to 99.996. So not only was everyone getting the gold they paid for the whole time, they where also getting more silver than they paid for and now everyone is getting bars of an even higher purity.

Damn, didn't know that. I'm in Texas and you don't just wonder up on anyone's land uninvited. Me and a buddy have a deal with a bunch of local farmers to come out and thin the hog and coyote populations a few times a year to keep them from bothering thier animals and crops. We've been doing it for years and we still always check in before we go out. I've come across alot of 2x4s with nails and things like that on land we hunt on because they don't want anyone driving thru and tearing up thier trails for thier equipment.

>> No.57041749

>>57037699
Despite all the practical problems with shooting or suing someone for digging on land you visit once a year and didn't fence or mark, it is still a crime. Just like walking your dog or riding your bike on that land is a crime.

So the other thing I do is I know people. I make it a point to campaign to get my friends elected sheriff, and I make it a point to know landowners of places I detect. Most of the land where I detect is owned by major mining companies, and I happen to work for major mining companies so I can generally get permission from them to detect. Or if not permission, at least a tacit agreement that they're not going to shoot me or press charges. I have permission from the sheriff to detect on all county property that's not being used, which adds a crapload of good detecting land to my area of play. Also since the sheriff knows me personally, they don't usually hassle me if they see me trespassing. They know I generally have either permission or at least a wink and a nod from the land owner. If you're going to detect other people's private property it really is best to know those people in case someone gets mad about it. Generally nobody cares though. They usually appreciate a person asking, since they know that thousands of people detect their land every year without asking. Some will ask for a share of whatever I find, and that's fine too. If I find something I want to keep I just buy it off them for half price. If I don't want to keep something I sell it and give them half, or sell it to them for half price. It's fine, if I don't do that someone else is just going to find it and give them nothing.

>> No.57041785

>>57041742
Yes, if you live in a place with single property owners that live on the land, you'd best avoid detecting without permission.

I would never cross a fence or walk past a NO TRESPASSING sign to detect. That's just asking for trouble. But if there's no signs, no fences, and no owners in sight I might very well trespass and do some digging. Usually I know who owns the land I'm on though, and I try to have permission to dig or a very good excuse why I should be allowed to dig without permission. E.g., a bike trail running through the property or whatever that indicates it's open to public use.

>> No.57041821

>>57041785
That makes more sense. I see people talking about detecting and digging on other people's land and it had me curious how they are doing it without catching flak. I know trespassing laws are alot more relaxed over seas for euros but stateside it was hard to picture.

>> No.57041875

>>57041821
My area is a special case since most of the interesting detecting is in a mining district where the land is almost all owned by mining companies, and usually a plot of land will have more than one owner. Sometimes lots of different owners. So it's hard to press charges or get permission to trespass because there's no single owner of the property to ask, and property owners don't usually all agree to press charges or close off a property. It's a weird situation, but the county forbids detecting on those properties. So if you tried to go detect on that land you'd probably get arrested. They're not going to arrest me because they know me. I helped get them elected.

>> No.57041911

>>57041821
also I own some land in the mining district here. Like most landowners, I don't fence my property and I don't care if people detect on it. Or dig bottles or whatever they want to do. Most of the property owners here don't care about that kind of thing. We own the mining claims because they're full of silver and gold, not because they have some bottles and coins on them.

>> No.57041935

yes. In colorado it's technically trespassing, but it would be extremely hard to prosecute especially if other people are trespassing without punishment.

>And removing items from the property is a whole different ballgame.
yes, that's where it gets complicated... or simple I guess. Removing stuff is theft. If the landowner can prove you did it, which is damn near impossible in real life.

>> No.57042043

And usually it's simply not worth the time and expense to prosecute. 99% of the time what I find is trash. When I do find something good the nominal value is probably less than a hundred dollars. On the rare occasion when I find something worth more than a hundred dollars on property I don't have permission to be on, I'll leave it in the hole, cover it back up, and contact the landowner. Who owns what land is all public record. I don't tell them where on the land I found something, just what I found and see what they want done with it. Usually they let me take it. Sometimes they ask to keep it. Either way is fine, I've never found anything valuable enough to go to jail for. I'm not detecting to make money and I don't mind helping people when I get the chance.

No. You are right. Those symbols are often associated with pedo and Sex Trafficking NGOs.
No doubt the Owl is taken as a symbol of evil from the ancient pagan traditions but a symbol of wisdom/virtue from the greeks and the preceding mystery cults.
I admire coins that have that holographic like security feature that changes when viewed at different angles. Spooky and esoteric. I have a bunch of Jew shit too, although Hebrew looks like demonic runes to me.

>holographic features
Kinda like the leaf on the maples.
Only thing is those features make for a bad circulating coin, itd wear down quick. Its okay, because the coins are beautiful and eventually we are going back to sound money

>go to bank, preferably the larger buildings
>ask for a box of pennies (most have a $20 limit [box is $25])
>sort out the pre1982 pennies
>sort out the wheat pennies
>forgot to mention one of those penny sorters 2 steps ago.
>about 8 pre82 pennies per dollar
>every now and then a wheat penny
>as you drain the bank, they go farther back in their stock

I cant believe rhey debased the penny from copper to zinc. It was bad enough that the gold and silver were removed from the backing

I’ve tried in the past. Typically they want a business account and more than likely they’re all modern pennies of the same year.

Are certain banks better? Will they give you coins without an account?

ask for the bagged coins they get in from customers. wrapped coins cost the banks money.

Gotta shop around. I had luck at wells fargos and chase banks for getting coins, not all of them though and you wanna sweet talk the lady tellers too because they'll try to steer you away. Worst comes to worst if you really want, open a cd with the lowest amount of cash you can then slurp. Theyve been cracking down. One bank id go to all the time had a security guard acost me for bringing in a large empty sac. I think it was my mistake though because i smiled and told him, im here to take your coins, then pointed my finger at him while exclaiming, "stick'm up". It made the old lady teller laugh but the jewish guard and his neanderkike manager told me ibwas no longer welcome. I told him, "cmon i have Mmmm-uhhh-kneee for coins dude, don't you want money hahaha" and tht was the last time i was in a citibank.
Farmers and merchants bank is a total merchant fest, they made me wait 30 minutes before telling me that the guy with the key wasnt there. I called them out and said they wrre just lazy and jewish and that they didn't even have coins, and as i walked out i loudly blurted that, "the dollar (federal reserve note) isnt even backed by crappy coins anymore, GOOD GRIEF!"
I have probably $12k in US change under my bed

Also i have a credit union, they only give me quarters.
Also find a nickel arcade, u can use your credit card to drain them, then turn in your nickels. Revolves your credit upwards so you can have a high limit so when shit is about to shtf, then you can rugpull them amd pay it back with pennies (the zinc ones) well after seeing pic related maybe just balance transfer kek

It was kinda slow for a muscle car, but at the same time it felt super rigid, no amount of slamming of the gas could ever cause that vehicle to wear out, plus it cruised at 80mph with a nice low rev hum. Great car, had probably the best braking of any quick vehicle ive driven, handling tended to drift a tad hahaha

Mine was decent until I cut the roof off in a hollywood top without realizing they were unibody with no frame. After that performance went to shit fast. By the time I sold it the front wheels were a full six inches off from the back and the floorboards had visible cracks and holes.
