First time I played slots I won $350. A couple years later I stayed at a hotel and won $650 first night, then $450 second night. Then I lost like $200 or so and I stopped. So far I'm up.

I’ve won several hundred in PoolTogether. Without having to risk any money. Only idiots play the lottery

Kinda, crypto is like calculated gambling, but if you never gamble/take risks then you never get anywhere in life I've realized.

“Lossless prize savings”

People stake stable coins through PoolTogether in legitimate vaults like AAVE. Yield is pooled, used to buy POOL, then distributed as prizes.

V5 launched and now the pool token will forever be used like that. It’s permissionless and autonomous. Also hooks are being developed to allow practically limitless use cases for staked funds (ie, charity, prize boosting, lending).

I have two “large” wins. Both under 1k but at the time they seemed large. First was won $575 on the ca lottery. Played their keno type draw game and tax forms are for $600 and more. It felt awesome.

Second was Vegas. I’ll never forget, it was Dominick Cruz vs the dillashaw. I bet about $300 on Cruz and he was an under dog. It was a split decision win and with my drunk ass yelling you would have think I just won 20k instead of $600-700. Ended up wasting it all that night but had a fancy steak with fancy wine

I played a free trial version of one of the National Lottery (UK) instant games and won £300k.
I then paid to play that game for real at £5 per game, and lost £280 in an afternoon.

The closest was winning a raffle for a unlocked iPhone
I don't use iPhones so I just returned it for a full refund.
