These threads are made by sociopathic trannies have nothing better to do than to shit up biz with their mentally ill hatred, after their Kadena pump and dump ended. Kadena was always a scam and they knew it, but couldn't care less.

What they’ll tell you is that this is a fundamentals play, i.e. you have identified something so technically great that you don’t care about timing the market, instead you just accumulate and hold - which is an excellent strategy for someone who doesn’t know how to trade but wants to invest in something that really has fundamentals, like Bitcoin.
However it is a terrible strategy if the investment target, like Kadena, doesn’t have strong fundamentals. The problem here is a bunch of tech illiterate trannies have tried to do research, and think they have identified a great project with strong fundamentals when what they have in fact found is a toy project by dilettante devs that doesn’t stand a chance against competent efforts that both know how to implement what they design AND know how to design and architect real solutions to real problems.
The first issue with KDA is that it doesn’t address a real problem. The L1 doesn’t have to scale more than BTC, in fact it shouldn’t (because the chain would grow too big to work well as global SoV ledger, the same issue Craig has with BSV). There is zero problems with BTC scalability for anyone who actually understands the space, and trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist is the first smell that KDA devs are either dumb or scam artists (I’m leaning towards dumb).
Second, if they want to attack their made up problem “settlement layer scaling to payment use case and smart contracts”, the next issue is they can’t actually architect and design a solution for this. As has been debated numerous times, Kadena “solves” scalability by splitting the chain up. (tb cont)

But by splitting the chain, they trade on (perceived) problem (of throughput) by introducing another one (transaction coordination between chains). Without such coordination (hard) Kadena isn’t saying more than “we made BTC scale 10x by running 10 isolated BTC networks in parallel - banks will run on this one, e-commerce on this, insurance on that…and no, you can never create a smart contract that transacts between these chains in a fully secure manner!”
So the second issue is they are not competent enough to implement their inappropriate architecture. And third, with taproot completed, competitors that do things right are popping up, ICP being first out, and even the time is about to run out for shitcoins, possibly even Eth (thogh it will probably hang around for a while due to legacy reasons). With this development in fundamentals in the space, Kadena doesn’t stand a chance.
So, basically, you got taken on a ride by tech illiterate trannies who identified a scam or just equally incompetent project as having super fundamentals and decided to go full value investor (in the middle of a bull run) on a project that can’t really hold a technical candle to Doge.
Next time, don’t listen to somebody who can’t keep track of their own fundamental biological reality when it comes to understanding fundamentals.

I really like ICP as a concept, decentralized and distributed computing/internet will be a game changer for applications like AI which require a ton of computing power but are heavily censored (bing is a good example -they're even bending the knee to disney so that no one generates images with "disney pixar" logo on them). It's basically the only crypto project that is competing with big tech cloud computing, which is where basically every popular application is going in the future. Even gaming, when the physical infrastructure can support it.

But fuck man, they need to provide a better solution for authorizing internet ID. You can do it on your phone, but that means you have to browse all of these ICP dapps on your phone browser, most of which weren't made for mobile devices. Your only option on desktop is to buy a yubikey or a fingerprint scanner. Why can't they just have a single sign-in feature that works as a browser extension? Why can't I just input a password every time I use ICP? If it's about bots, why not just charge a small fee for creating an internet identity?
