I live in rural minnesota and there are plenty of millenials with farms. It's a reddit meme that it's so le ebin hard. They have gas powered machinery for everything.

It's hard work and you barely break even. I guess you make money with Monsanto/cargil monocropping but that is spiritually raping the land or factory ranching that's torture on animals.

My uncle is a farmer and he works 14 hours a day and everyone he tries to hire is an alcoholic retard who ends up in jail. He could sell everything and retire more comfortably than anyone else in our family but his protestant work ethic demands he work until death and enjoy none of his life

you have to plan everything well in advance and you're at the constant mercy of the weather. Problems need to be addressed as soon as they occur even if you don't feel like it, otherwise problems become disasters, and then disasters become catastrophes.

A farmer on Web3, kek.

Well, I'm thinking of going into that sector soon but for now I'll keep looking for upcoming Presales and IDOs.
Top on my list are BobNet and OpenGamesBuilders: Trading bot and GameFi respectively.

the modern harvester is only able to harvest a single crop from any given field. the result of this is called monocropping. monocropping has many extreme disadvantages to the point where on the scale we do it it could lead to entire global collapse of food chains. the simple fact of the matter ignoring everything else is that the bug populations on these monocropped lands are not natural like they would be in a forrest where owls and birds and spiders that live on the trees kill your fruit eating aphids. the farmer tries to cope with this by spraying insecticides but if you listen to Elaine Wainwright she clearly is saying how even the best insect management on a monocrop will result in about a 10% yield loss to bugs, not even talking about all the bug and bug poop you consume for their bad farming. secondly monocropping also destroys the soil turning it to dirt over several seasons without rotation or diversity.
