Incorrect. Munger and Buffett aren't boomers, they're the parents of boomers. There's a funny story about Buffett ragging on boomers for being soft pussies who lost 'nam to the vietnamese, meanwhile munger and buffett dabbed on korean and japanese corpses.

But otherwise it is correct, expecting people to get rich when government policy is designed to impoverish you is a joke.

This is totally missing the point. He was buck broken at 31, rinsed clean by his wife, no job. Most on this board would have rotted, and most other boomers would have too.

If it’s so easy why didn’t every guy from his gen become a gazillionaire?

Typhoid Mary kept spreading typhoid because she was a chef/cook and in NYC you could make the modern equivalent of 50 an hour as a cook.

Imagine getting 100k to make food. That's what life was like before kikes took over society and boomers squeezed every last drop out of it. You just had to show up. Now they tell you to be grateful for 20 bucks, because at least it's not 15 bucks, while rent is 1600 bucks.

his father was a harvard law school educated lawyer. he was admitted to harvard law school without even a bachelors degree, because of his connections. what is it with these child rapists trying to manufacture a folksy past when even the most cursory of research reveals how easy they had it?

Again, he was literally a college graduate when he "started over". You have any idea how hard it is to even get in to college these days? Thats a door thats basically shut to white men. Unless youre super rich or if youre poor. If youre in the middle theres no getting in. The amount of doors that were open to him at that age are staggering.
>he "started over", you can too!
You sound like a baby boomer.

You guys bashing the "started over" line must not have children. If my kid died at 9 from Leukemia I'd be done with this fucking world. I don't care what connections he had. It's amazing that he even managed to start living again.

Actually a pretty common story that people who lose their young kids bury themselves in work. I wouldn't say that's "getting over it". It was just how he chose to cope. He probably sacrificed a lot of happiness spending all his time grinding away at wagie life, but it kept his mind off his kid so it was all he could do.
