you will need:

cardboard
a marker
old clothes
a patch of dirt to roll around in

Ok so you're gonna want to put on those old clothes and go roll around in the dirt for let's say 15 minutes. Then write on the cardboard some kind of begging sign like "Anything Helps". Next pose as a beggar asking for change. Beware other beggars and try not to be too disruptive. You're gonna want to really go for the down on your luck look.


Another quick scheme: if you know a bookstore that does cash for books, check out a bunch of books from the library, strip them of stickers and sell them. Graphic novels won't have the library stamps on them and could be worth more online. Eventually you will have to pay for these books if you want to use the library again or if they start collections on you so this should be short term with a plan to cover the lost book fees in the future.
