I'm too risk adverse for this. I'm just in it for the memes I guess. I did tell my boomer dad about it and bought 2 coins at 10k and DCA'd a 3rd across the top of last cycle bringing the combined 3 coins to 18k average. He is going to give me one which is based.

What did you start with? Hopefully a lot less than 14k anyway. You losing all gains on shitcoin casinos? or just using the buy high sell low investor strategy a lot of traders seem to recommend?

I got into bitcoin at 63k towards the end of the last bullrun and I'm up almost 21k and the wife is up 8k as of this minute with ~55k-ish invested each. I did a few more risky feeling buy-ins towards 15k price than she did and that worked wonders for me in 2023.
But boy does it hurt watching 110k become 60k for a while though, but we held and held... and held through it all. We knew it was likely just a matter of time on BTC, but it still hurts watching prices collapse further for a year+ straight when you already thought you'd bought in at the bottom. But I'd saved 1/3 of my cash for that possibility and that was my best profits.
