why are these stupid gif images the only use case we have seen so far for NFTs, instead of e.g. the property deed for a car, or the encrypted access code for a safety deposit box, or the access credentials for a set of cloud computers? seems like there are infinitely better use cases than a stupid ms paint image, am I missing some big technical hurdle here?

NFTs are nonsense
it is cs:go skins on the blockchain
that is what is sold to investors like Visa
it is just a sales pitch to get some boomer cash
NFTs will never be anything more

Nigger here. To everyone seeing this. Haircomb is a scam project that has existed for 4 years now and is always silently shilled to catch idiots that download their "wallet". A wallet drainer.,,.,,..,,./

Yes, you forget the most crucial usecase for nft: scamming
How am I supposed to scam people by using an nft as access credentials?

>the property deed for a car
deed to my car is an nft. someone hacks my metamask. now, only two things can happen: 1) they legally own my car now or 2) legal ownership of my car is no longer tied to the nft. in either case it’s an unusable system. putting real world assets “on the blockchain” was always a vc scam concept.
