I was off for a week and a half because someone got killed on the job, now they called me in, why couldn't I just be born rich, there is no getting used to this fucking shit, I hate it so much.

I don't have to go to work tomorrow. I'm 29 year old and unemployed for my first time since literally high school.

A company poached me from my steady job with a much higher salary, it was a shitshow my entire time there (complete mismanagement), and they fired me at the end of my fourth week.

I've filed for unemployment but haven't heard back yet. I'm applying for jobs but this past week - Thanksgiving - was my first week off. Nothing doing for either of them until this coming week at the earliest.

Just drinking Natty Ice and eating Doritos for the meanwhile.
