While we wait for LINK and the market to dump, let's tell our stories.

This is my actual story.

>40,000 LINK since 2017
>Set cash out goal of $60/LINK for a clean $2MM post tax.
>Move LINK to Coinbase and set up sells in 2018 or whenever it got added there
>May 2021, peak euphoria at $50
>At the gym, look at my paper NW, think "it's actually happening, I'll finally escape wage slavery"
>Starts dumping
>"No problem, just a temporary pullback"
>Not a temporary pullback
>Hold the entire stack without selling a single LINK
>Spend the next 2.5 years in agony

on the bright side I now have 50k LINK, but wowee am I completely sapped of happiness at this point.

there are hundreds of coins doing x100 every week, just divorce your investment and start making money, otherwise you'll see real return on value from LINK when you are middle aged (if the company doesnt crash and burn before that)

Sorta similar story but cashed out 13k at a paltry $3.70 to get back my initial and have some house down payment. Didnt cash out any ATH or even close, tried to swing early 2022 and catch falling knoife and lost more. Still have a few make it stacks but it's going to have to go over $125 now for me.

I wish you the best, anon. Thanks for sharing. I think it does hit $100+ eventually. My cash out number is still $60, but I will not cash out everything. I built the extra 10k up to be able to hold on for the very long term. Although it is depressing to think about that just a few years later the $2MM is worth 20%+ less what it would have been then, but I don't want greed to fuck me over.

idk, I was pretty ready to sell. I try not to marry my investments, just set targets and stick to them. I really did enter a weird stage of denial as things started dumping though. It was hard for my brain to make sense of both being that close to my goal and watching it all melt to nothing in such a short time span.

I've been in crypto since 2017 so dreams of riches have been with me a long time and I don't have to work any more since LINK's run to $50. I was late to the party and bought my first bag at 1.79 in 2019. Then I bought at every price up to about $40, and back down to the low point.
I never sold any, and I have just about 5k links at an average cost of about 9 Dollars.
I have no idea where it will go but I can't help thinking it will eventually do very well. I can wait.
