While this is a measurable effect it doesn't amount to anything definitive on the micro level that you see in these typical TA patterns because there's not enough overlap in what people see. Ie two people seeing the same pattern interpret and respond to it differently. It does work in primary trends but at that point you're seeing a behavioral phenomena not a reaction strictly to price action. Such as in bubble formations. I did my thesis on this topic specifically
