It just hit me today how absolutely fucked most people are. Top tier wagies like doctors are basically the only people to enjoy anything more than a just-above-poverty level existence, and things like AI mean it will only get harder for the average person to enjoy any kind of acceptable standard of living/income. You have to go to Med/law school to obtain the same standard of living that GED Boomers has turning wrenches in the Ford plant.

Average people have absolutely NO chance in today’s economy. It’s sad bros.

Just risk-maxx bro. Study sub-$50m market cap coins to see which ones have die hard cult followings. Stop putting all of your capital into just bitcoin and eth (unless you're already rich). Only use the high caps as market hedges so you can scoop up more of your small caps if they crash super hard. Either way, you'll benefit and ultimately win in the end.

Money really doesn’t matter much after you’ve gotten to a point where you’re no longer worried if you can make ends meet. Most people on /biz/ are obsessed with money because they’re non-white. But they’ll see after they hit 7 figures here their lives will be no different from 6 figures. The only thing more money buys is fancier versions of things you can already buy. It’s purely materialistic so in the end you still serve your Jewish overlords.

>things like AI mean it will only get harder for the average person to enjoy any kind of acceptable standard of living/income.
You see the world backwards and upside down from how it actually is. The world is bottom up, not top down, work is a COST not a BENEFIT, the output is the desirable part not the input. Increasing output for a given input will ALWAYS increase global wealth.
>b-but da state/oligarchs will bogart all da wealth!
Like Kings became gods and we peasants are still subsistence farmers? Again, the world is bottom up, if a state tries to monopolize the increased output it will fade into nothing as it gets crushed mercilessly by a state that doesn't. Hayek's Knowledge Problem is less about 'desires' as it is about MOTIVATION, oligarchs monopolizing productively constitutes a labor price cap which will always result in labor shortages and inferior productivity to an economic region that does not impose such price caps. See: every commie shithole ever, See also: labor force participation in the West in the last 50yrs (a product of the defacto price caps on labor imposed via monetary and welfare policy in the post-hard money era)

You're a retard. Humans are the most general of general automatons, the ability to automate a task a human performed in the past increases not decreases the value of the more general automaton. 100 IQ AI (which we're still far far away from, gpt4's performance on non-knowledge loaded intelligence tests is pathetic) does not render you, the 80 IQ niggercattle, worthless, instead it means you can now be pair with an 100 IQ AI co-pilot, greatly increasing your productivity. It's crazy isn't it? I moved here from interstate before I really had much of an idea just how much of a gap there was between someone who grew up here and has family here willing to help them get into a house, and a person coming here with effectively nothing but the shirt on their back and a secure job that pays reasonably well. I make about 150k and have absolutely no chance of ever living comfortably here, my housemate makes $75k/year working for a clothing retailer as a manager and when her parents die she'll be basically set for life because she'll inherit half her parents' $5M house and then some.

Aussieland has very swiftly over the last twenty years or so become a country where what you inherit will determine the outcome of your life to a far greater degree than how skilled you are or how hard you're willing to work. Never forget median household income in 1970 was 235oz of gold, the declines seen in the last 50 years are an artifact of unchecked monetary expansion through fiat, and this is currently being corrected by technology/economy: Bitcoin, which is not only a technical solution for the political corruption of money but also IS the deflationary crash bobos keep expecting.

You had fifteen years. You still have time, but of course you won't use it:
1) Hyperbitcoinization eliminates parasitic economic transactions by enforcing positive sum gaming
2) Increasing BTC value pushes us closer to hyperbitcoinization realities
3) Increases in value of BTC translates to DIRECT increases in worldwide economic efficiency by granting greater economic influence to positive sum actors

BTC bootstraps itself being both safe haven, a politically, cryptographically, and financially fixed unit of account, and risk asset (liquidity sponge) this creates a positive feedback loop under expansitory regimes. As futures where BTC gains value outperform futures where it does not (by granting greater economic influence to positive sum actors), BTC will gain value in all realities which operate under fiat/debasement systems. Bitcoin is an inevitability.

Wealth means you don't need to make nearly as many sacrifices as someone without wealth. I've been poor and now I'm wealthy. The whole time I was poor, I was painfully aware of the sort of trade offs I had to make just to make sure I made it from Monday to Tuesday. You know what's different between then and now? Options. If I need new tires, I don't need to worry about how it will impact my groceries. I just get new tires, buy whatever I want at the grocery store, don't need to worry about filling up my gas tank, etc. If I'm pissed, I can go to practically anywhere in the world on a whim. What fucks me over hard right now is the target wealth paints on your back. All of the good shit wealth provides me comes with the consequence of someone, somewhere, quite a few people at times, often trying to work to get me in chains so I can't jet over to Cancun on a whim or force me back in to that poverty mindset of making hard trade offs. In other words, your vigilance shifts, it never goes away, but it's a lot easier to be a King being vigilant of your subjects than it is to be a peasant vigilant of whether or not eating that day means not eating tomorrow. The cost of poor vigilance as a King is you end up as a peasant. The cost of poor vigilance as a peasant is you end up dead or functionally dead.

It's been true of life on earth for a long long time.
Above average intelligence IS required to have a more luxurious lifestyle and thats been true across every era of human history.
A smart man can see where the flow of money in the economy is coming from and he adjusts his profession, or crafts a business to siphon the wealth off to himself.
Whereas a avg man barely conscious does the minimum just to sustain his life as his lack of creative problem solving mental capacities is what keeps him ultimately poor.

Banking on an inheritance is morbid as hell. Even the slightest dopamine hit of thinking about what you'll get once your parents drop dead is fucked up.
The only way to make that effort before that cashgrab matter is to never count on it.
Work with the goal of never needing it. You're selling the future idea of your family for a stack of money.
Your dad worked for it. It's his. And if it makes him happy to sell it all and spend it on a stupid dream like starting a ranch or booking a trip to space, there's not a damn thing you should say about it except: "I'm happy for you".

Imagine raising a child thinking the best thing you gave them is love, but all they do is wait for you to die.
I'd tell you to kill yourself but if your parents love you they'll blame themselves, so wait to rope yourself until they're dead having thought that the son they loved, loved them back for who they were and not what they had.

>China had the printing press centuries before Europe did
There are many preconceptions concerning the history of China. It is presumed to be exceptionally ancient, a lot more so than European history, and its datings are said to be perfectly reliable. An example is the invention of the printing press by the Germans in the XV century, 1440 being the earliest estimation. There is nothing odd about this invention being made in Europe around that time – after all, all European languages use phonetic alphabets.

However, consensual history is trying to convince us that somebody invented printing molds in China 300 years before, in the XI century – for tens of thousands of hieroglyphs, no less. The invention had promptly been forgotten, serving no other purpose than going down in history.

The more plausible version is that a European (possibly Dutch) book about the invention of the printing press in Germany became translated into Chinese around the XVII century and became part of Chinese history. One must also recollect the alleged invention of the logarithms in China that took place 500 years before they were invented in the Netherlands.

The comparison of two publications, European and Chinese, demonstrates that a misprint from Napier’s table of natural logarithms (first published in 1620) was repeated in a Chinese book that is presumed to be 500 years older.

Is that the natural way of making history, one wonders? The Spanish Armada of 300 great vessels also became an important part of Chinese history. Every Chinese history book reports about the construction of a gigantic 300-vessel armada in 1405; some of the ships are said to have been 150 meters long, which is quite impossible for wooden ships.
