I tear out a new page of parchment, grab my most pleb pen and write the seed phrase given to me by TailsOS. I then throw the USB key in a fire, have the text etched onto a steel card and insert it into the safe built into the basement of my house. Then I have the etcher killed.

I bought mine from a guy named Raj on craigslist. Pretty good deal.

Okay so I use a paper wallet, but what do I use for my regular wallet & transactions and such? I'm paranoid whatever I download won't exist in 10 years.

Your private key for your crypto is generated out of your seed phrase. If Ledger and Trezor are gone in 10 years you will still have the same private key and seed phrase.

The private key is all you need to send via the blockchain.

In the future there will be other ways to custody your crypto but you will still need your private key and seed phrase.
