That is a typical hollow sterling handle with stainless blade cake knife. What you probably want is either a big long solid sterling fish serving knife, or an ice cream knife, search around and look at some examples to see if they'll work for you. They are available, but those big solid knives are scarce enough that finding a good deal would likely take some time. The closest thing I have is this solid fish knife.

this is the normal tax rate on business income in the US.

traders likely can lower a portion of that income down to cap gains and skip FICA though. How much they can do that depends on what they're trading, and how often.

I'm counting your employer's contribution to FICA as coming from you. Because effectively it does. It's your work paying your employer's share, we don't pay that out of our pocket. Wont help you in your search of full silver knives, but i was following an auction who ended yesterday for a pocket knife with silver blade from 1793. Which are pretty rare. It ended selling for something like 190€.

And to add to Scrapfren good advices about butter and fish silver bladed knives, you can also look for "fruits knives" who also have silver blades.

a fair number of assay shops located at individual large mines. They're rare finds, but I've seen a few that people have found.

those guys were cranking out hundreds of standard tons of silver per day, so a pound or two here or there didn't matter much to them. I have another smaller one somewhere that's almost half gold. A couple ounces of electrum. I'll see if I can dig it out. I still need to find the several pounds of silver splatter I have sitting around somewhere. It wasn't where I thought it was.

Fun fact i learned not long ago : i don't live far from the oldest silver mine open to the public (a tiny portion only) in the world!

It was a mine exploited between the VII-IXth century, mainly under Charlemagne ruling.
There are 30km of galeries, which i find pretty insane considering how they were working, basically burning the galena with vertical wood faggots set ablaze for hours to scrap the rocky surface, since no tools back then were resistant enough to deal with the rocks. And zero ventilation but few chimneys. Must have been a true inferno to work within.

The fun thing is they didn't stop to exploit it because they couldn't find any more silver, but because they cut down all the trees within a 50km girth to burn down the rock and progress underground kek!
Considering the mines weren't very productive to begin with (4 tons of silver per year at best, 1 to 3gr per kilo of galena they could bring to the surface), it wasn't worth it to double the pain by being forced to also import the wood.

fire setting is one of the oldest mining techniques around. Pliny the Elder mentioned it, and it was indeed very likely invented in France. That's some great mining history!

we had the opposite problem, the ore was so rich and full of sulfur that if the mines caught fire the rock itself would burn for years. They had to be very careful not to set the pyrites and galena on fire. You'd kill off a hundred workers before anyone even knew what had happened.
