also, it could be worse, I made $39 an hour as an engineer but was abruptly fired and am now unemployed. I'd kill to be making $24/hr (which is actually what my first engineering job paid lmao)

10 years ago I just to repair running machines in a small unventulated production hall. heat would peak since plastic was processed. smell of molded plastic and toxic fumes all day.
