By far and away the most popular and widely-adopted stablecoin since its inception all the way back in February 2015, in which time the marketcap of crypto has exploded from $4 billion to $3 trillion, with people constantly tethering up the entire time and yet people somehow find it hard to believe they could have amassed a measly $86 billion in USD reserves in that time?

if people are piling back into crypto, why are USDC reserves being drained? we're all screaming ETF like institutions are going to be piling back. Blackrock would give their money to coinbase who they have an actual partnership with.

doesn't it make sense that the only access to ACTUAL usd now for tether is to print tehter and swap it with USDC which can be cashed out through coinbase and whatnot?

Because they are jews. They are playing the exact same game they used to steal all the gold but this time to steal all the crypto.

look at all this institutional money piling into crypto by choosing a Chinese, unaudited stablecoin which the US is about to ban instead of USDC.

USDT is collateralized by literal US Treasury Bonds.
its one of the largest holders of them now
and every market forecaster thats high alpha is calling the US bond market entirely fraudulent
dyor but USDT will collapse 100% when the USD does (some time in the next few years)
2024 will kick off massive runaway inflation btw.
dyor im not wrong.

They are US treasury bills. Complete scam tokens but it's the biggest one still.
The reason it exists is because we're forced by gunpoint to accept their blood shit tokens.

First they took gold. In my country gold is now de facto considered speculation by tax authorities.

They're criminal scum. They want to control crypto but they won't get all our bottle caps right away. Keep stacking. Use their shit to outplay them because all you need to know is moves in the cycles, the FUD, and the wikipedia early life on the custodians you buy their scam shit tokens from.

They'll probably let coinbase or some other guy be the next cycle fall guy within the next ~5 years. On the positiive note for me it felt like their accumulation phase was more or less blown off too quickly because they'd wanted perhaps at least one year more of FTX shiphoning funds. Which blew their projectary.
Next bullrun will be even more massive. My feel is next summer already, but might be prolonged by 'market forces' to spring 2025 if I'm not mistaken.

>> No.56617651

Don't they have to do this to maintain the peg?

>> No.56617669

>>56616557
It's unrealized. The point of bonds is that you hold them to maturity.
If USDT dumped though and they had to buy it back then they'd be in trouble. Hopefully they're buying short term high yield bonds with the money they're getting from selling the new coins.
