Got my parents to get a sui stack of Link at $7. I’m a good son. Do any of you tell your friends or family about Link? I’m thinking of telling my friends but I’m skeptical

Cringe, sure they just thought their special son is being cute

Why didn't your parents bought bitcoin 15 years ago?

do not make the mistake of telling your normie friends. you have no agency on how they will inevitably either sell early or at a first big loss, and they will be bitter faggots. only tell a friend that is close enough and has 'tism power levels.

Tell no one, ESPECIALLY if you care about them. Nothing but bad things will come from it trust me, regardless if they buy or sell or don't do anything it wll end badly in the vast majority of cases.
Even in your situation OP, yes you made paper profit for your parents, but now they expect you to tell them when to sell as well and it will be your fault for not perfectly timing the market which you inevitably won't be able to do. Why didn't you tell me to sell the exact top, why didn't you tell me to buy even more at the lows, why didn't you tell me I can't click on this scam dust token in my wallet, why didn't you tell me that this XYZ exchange stopped working etc etc

What you should've done if you actually care about them is buy that sui stack of LINK for your parents without them even knowing and just give them cold hard cash once it's in great profit. No investment advice no market talk no nothing, just give them cash which they need for paying off loans/new car/whatever and that's it, you're the perfect son forever in their eyes.

i spent two years convincing my dad to buy a make it stack of LINK (he is loaded)
i bought it from 8 down to 6 (10k LINK)
and he had me sell it at 5.55
he is the bottom signal, every financial decision he makes is horrible related to trading

They will buy in at $18 thinking they made the best financial decision of their lives then panic sell at loss when it corrects back down to $12 (33% loss, huge for normals) before skyrocketing to $100+

I had breakfast with my parents on Fathers day(the day of the pico bottom) and I tried to get him to buy some link. He had recently sold his house to downsize into a pod in a retirement community so he was and still is sitting on a lot of cash. He was completely uninterested.

I told my mom to buy 1000 around smartcon. I don't really like doing that, but I thought it was worth it because she just retired with 7 figs and basically no living costs.
Then she told my aunt and then my uncle, and now like 6 people in my family hold LINK. I did not intend for this to happen but whatever.

Nope, high risk, low reward situation. Unfortunate, but that's just the way things are.
