so I don't understand where people think buying crypto happens with the etfs.. they already bought the underlying assets.. they may start taking profits and dump on retail money coming in.. but there is no real pump coming. only scam wicks and crabbing

so institutions move a percentage of the trillions they manage into their BTC ETFs to get fees and they in turn need to buy underlying Bitcoin. their clients get crypto exposure without having to custody and they make a good chunk for doing nothing. Their investors see the gains and want more tax sheltered crypto exposure etc etc
