Ok no problem. It's a Bitcoin exchange traded fund. It means institutional money (and accredited investors kek imagine having to be allowed to trade your own money) will be able to access Bitcoin. But here's the thing; they already can if they choose. Did Michael Saylor turn around and go 'oh noes no ETF guess I'd better keep buying bonds instead'. Access doesn't necessarily mean investment. Don't get me wrong, I think it's good for Bitcoin. But beware of group think

You have no idea how much money is ready to pounce on the Bitcoin ETF.

I'm talking literally multigenerational family offices ready to allocate.

A bulk market some say will hit 2 million per coin

>> No.56531736

>>56531723
Why can those family offices not open a OTC account on Binance US, smash buy and send to cold storage? They just waiting for the price to go up first before they buy in?

Boomers retirements and IRAs literally frothing to buy Bitcoin the second the ETF is approved.

Anyone who says differently is a Fed working for blackrock.

The day of the approval will mark the top of the cycle. That's really the only thing propping up the crypto market since stocks have been bleeding.

Nothing is stopping those boomers from just buying bitcoin now. Institutions are going to want to see the price of bitcoin rise before they pile boomer retirements into an ETF. Bitcoin won't rise itself based on an ETF's performance, it's the other way around.

its like
you want a share of the profits that the companies made from back when they bought btc at 25k.
you would buy an etf. so that the underlying asset could give you profits without you actually buying any.

so I don't understand where people think buying crypto happens with the etfs.. they already bought the underlying assets.. they may start taking profits and dump on retail money coming in.. but there is no real pump coming. only scam wicks and crabbing

so institutions move a percentage of the trillions they manage into their BTC ETFs to get fees and they in turn need to buy underlying Bitcoin. their clients get crypto exposure without having to custody and they make a good chunk for doing nothing. Their investors see the gains and want more tax sheltered crypto exposure etc etc

I'm curious, have you already hopped on the XTP train that's causing ripples everywhere? If not, you should consider holding some and even upgrading to their various plans to ensure you're not left out.
