Yup and that language of business will bleed into retail as dapps will be made utilizing hbar. Thats what web3 is, the new internet on your phone where you can bank, shop, sell all in one spot on one chain WITHOUT KNOWING which as you mentioned is what HCS + HTS makes possible.

Leemon knew

>> No.56542090

>>56541544
He knew. And the other thing is (and almost nobody in crypto understands this or the ramifications) Hedera has positioned itself to reach mass adoption through channel partners.

For example, over the next few years we will see hundreds of blockchain as a service (BaaS) companies pop up all over the world. They will use tools like HCS/HTS that make onboarding super easy, and they will onboard their own clients to Hedera. ServiceNow already does this with Hedera and there will be hundreds more that follow, in every single specialized industry and every country. This is the business model that led to mass cloud adoption over the past decade.

In other words, WAGMI

For sure my friend, Leemon is years ahead. He has also mentioned many times recently that he us working on perfecting XR and having it run on/utilize Hedera. As in his words, in the future people will no longer use phones but use Google glass style glasses and be looking up rather than down on their phone. The indian CEO from DecimalPointAnalytics stated qhat you mentioned about all fields AI, Data, Finance etc all needing a DLT to bring and share all info together simultaneously aka Hedera will make this a reality.

Sharding will be beyond game changing, oh and Leemon has already done Decentralized Recovery and testing. THIS is HUGE for banks etc as it will give retards peace of mind and bring the simplification to crypto.

> Sharding will be beyond game changing
Good post anon. I’m curious about this - does anyone have an idea of what is the “risk level” and difficulty of implementing sharding? IMO, Hedera is outstanding in so many areas but a potential risk is that it’s new hashgraph technology, it’s not a standard blockchain that has so many previous examples. I know they open sourced last year which is very good news (another FUD put to rest) so the code has more eyes on it than used to. I just don’t understand what it will take to release sharding. I’m not super deep in technical side of things

I also think they haven’t prioritized it yet because there hasn’t been a need; they are prioritizing tools like HCS and Stablecoin Studio first to actually start the exponential adoption

>> No.56544434

>>56544220
From what Ive watched sharding will just allow either 1 person with X amt of hbar (rumored 100k) or a group via smart contract come together to act as a node. Sharding is in the near future but will be needed once TPS reaches the high 100ks or millions. Just a way to take weight off GC nodes but makes users win as well since they can get more rewards for "helping" network and sharing gossip. Hbar at its base kinda works like torrenting where more seeders = faster dload, more stable dload aseechers increasea. Private trackers sustain a healthy network by giving users high quality files, good selection, safe downloads. Hbar uses same idea but rather than a high quality .mkv you get hbar as reward. More hbar that STAYS on network = more gossip = faster txns and more txns = more fees generated which = more rewards.

Leemon has stated that at the moment nodes will need a somewhat hefty PC with like 1tb or some shit but eventually as like I said more people, nodes will be able to run off phones. Like torrents, more people seeding means they share 10gb split by 1000 diff people rather than 1 guy sharing all 10gb and everyone depending on his network.

Its neither prioritized or neglect, just at the end of list because reality needs more tps and users for sharding to be useful.

Pretty positive Leemon also mentioned being able to shard a shard, eventually.

>> No.56544476

Leemons timestamped vids on Hederas main youtube are great, Im sure in one of them he goes into more detail on sharding.

Thanks anon. So regarding community nodes (AKA anybody being able to stake as long as they have ~100k HBAR and the hardware) how do you guys think this will play into the enterprise use cases? I know a lot of these enterprises use Hedera for the specific reason of knowing exactly who is validating their transactions, and they will have compliance concerns if random anons were validating it.

I’m sure the GC will find a plan to work around this but I’m just curious what y’all think will be.

You kinda lock X amount up of hbar as node, as it needs a min amount. It stskes automatically as its on network and the incentive are the fee rewards...

Like building a market in Age Of Empires you need X amt of Gold Wood and once built can trade and accumulate Gold, more carts trading with you for rewards.

Last weekend I took my family to Peter Piper Pizza. The kids get to play around and I get to eat pizza, drink a beer and converse with my wife. Usually it’s a good time had by all. This time was a bit different. As I was finishing my 3rd slice of pepperoni pizza, my daughter comes running up to me bawling her eyes out. “Daddy, daddy! The grinch stole my skee-balls!” It was July so there shouldn’t be any Christmas things going on. I asked her to show me where the grinch was at. She took me over to one of the skee-ball machines and to my surprise she pointed at Leemon! He was standing on top of the skee-ball game, throwing in balls into the “100 point” holes and kept saying, “There’s another transaction for Hedera!” I asked him to come down and explain himself. Every time I tried to get a word out he just covered his ears and yelled “LALALALALA I CANT HEAR YOU.” Eventually I got him to talk. He explained she was using the incorrect tokens for the game. He dug around in his pocket for an inordinate amount of time and produced a handful of HBAR
