Honestly the idea of link ever even touching eth's mcap seems completely absurd even though project wise there's no reason it shouldn't easily surpass eth. That would put it close to $400

Just saying, people felt the same last time. Alts rarely ever make a new ATH in their second cycle. Those are just hard facts. You can argue fundamentals for sure but so many people got rekt last cycle by clinging to LINK in incredulity. This market is highly retarded.

If Bitcoin hits 180,000 this upcoming bull, that means a mcap of roughly 3.3 trillion. With 2% chainlink dominance of that market Link would be worth exactly 66,000,000,000. As in a 10x from now, which places at right around low 3 figures. Stop blackpilling because of a mild pushback from 11.90 to 11.72. We are higher than we have been in over a year.

ETH made a new ATH in its second cycle.
>inb4 ETH is special
So is LINK
DOGE made a new ATH in its second cycle.
XMR made a marginal new ATH in its second cycle. And last but not least........LINK made a new ATH in its second cycle.

Even if none of those coins had made a new ATH in their second cylce and we were proposing LINK would be the first altcoin to ever do it, there's no law preventing it from happening. There is no crypto rulebook that markets have to follow. If the demand for LINK tokens exceeds the supply, the price will go up. If the demand is high enough, the previous ATH will be broken again. Simple as.

If btc is at 3.3 tril mc that means total crypto mc will be 10-12 tril mc
So link at 2% dominance is 200-240 bil mc
Which is 300ish per link token depending on exact dumps

Thanks for the pop culture update, zoomie, last I knew snowflake described the kind of person who'd use TikTok actually but I clearly don't have my finger on the pulse of such critically important distinctions like you do.

>>56516254
I rate LINK's fundamentals higher than anything. My original point was in response to the suggestion $100 is a "virtual certainty". It is very interesting as triple figs was considered a lock in 2020 after the August run too. That was 3 years ago. I pointed out that actually it would constitute, as you put it yourself, "something special". You can point to ETH per usual as the blue sky benchmark, but the point is you're pointing to exceptions to describe something you all speak about in certainty. The implication of that is interesting as it really implies this a critical time for LINK and even in the ranks of the faithful this cycle is all or nothing, whether you meant to admit it or not. You're saying it is going to perform exceptionally because it is exceptional. If it doesn't, that means it isn't exceptional, but I doubt any of you would have the ability to admit that if it happened. You run out of comparisons after ETH. You're on your last one. I think that's worth pointing out in these echo chamber threads, yes.

And while there might not be any unbreakable laws of physics here, discounting all history and data because of that is a just a dumb move if you're someone building an actual strategy for a cycle. Expectations should be relative as that's the entire game of trading and investment. As I said, if LINK doesn't pull it off, you begin to run out of excuses to keep saying it's exceptional. If it does, LINK's untouchable. If LINK hits $100 it should be blasted across the whole fucking industry. I wouldn't play it off as a certainty. But as I said, the market is retarded.
