i hold link but im mad that this pump makes no sense. feels like a whale playing around.

Chainlink has had more good news in the last year than the entirety of the rest of the crypto market. The only thing that "makes no sense' is why we aren't rank 3.

the last time link pumped against the market it was very similar. news kept coming out that made us incredibly bullish and the price did fuck all. seemed like every week there would be some crazy connections, crazy announcements. and we kept wondering what was wrong with this market for not caring much about it.

then we started making moves, $3 become 4, $5 became $7, $7 became $12, and we went from $3 to $20 in a very short space of time and every normie in the world started shilling link on non crypto and non /biz/ related places. we also had a low supply of link on exchanges that time too, which i have heard talked about in recent weeks where link available on exchanges was pretty low too. and as for bullish news, pretty much everything related to swift and sibos this year was insanely bullish, ccip release was insanely bullish. if this were any other crypto we would've pumped hard as fuck the last 2-3 months. but just like last time we were over due. in this one we're over due. and we're still undervalued. (also bitcooin hasn't shit the bed and fucked us yet.)

Look at the last bull run, link pumped in like october/november, then BTC ran afterwards and then LINK pumped even more beyond that. Possible swinging opportunity but swingies get the rope

>> No.56435638

Link might be one of those projects that pump retrospectively on news, Accumulating bullishness for 1-2 years and then price them in all at once.

desu this kind of coins are usually controlled by whales, But they're also explosive when they move

they've been buying nearly the last two years. that's what consolidation periods are made up of; either distribution or accumulation. in this case we had massive period of accumulation and now it's been green lit to soar.

and then the rest of the market proceeded to 5x leaving link behind, convince me this time is different. front running coins at the beginning of the bullmarket are never top performers by the end

BTC, Link, Vet, AVAX spot, watching XRP LTC and DOGE for longs. Link was one of my worst performing plays in 2020 and I first bought it as cheap as $0.70. Rotations always happen every cycle and the later your coin is rotated into the more liquidity it gets, frontrunners never win in the end

This is usually how it goes.
The thing with oumping on news is every normie can anticipate it.
Of course links breakout will be on a random weekend in the middle of the night while everyone is sleeping.

institutions aren't buying link to hold it, they buy it because they need to buy it to utilize chainlink services, which is flat fees regardless of the price of the token anyways. A big institution buying for staking down the line would just get it direct from sirgay, not the open market

Because someone at Chainlink Labs accidentally gave away $5 million dollars to Node Operators who naturally sold it as income, but then had to buy back the LINK they'd sold on the open market and return to Chainlink Labs once the error was revealed. Their rebuys caused a FOMO spike which is still ongoing.
