No, S means superior in grading. Interestingly after S comes ABCDEF but for some reason in the car industry S class vehicles, which are generally the largest saloons (S class, A8, 7 series, Panamera, Quattroporte, etc) are the top tier and then A class vehicles are the entry level compact cars when they should be the lesser than S so like the E class, 5 series, A6 etc
