Nano foundation has no more money, they took out a loan on their dev wallet and did not inform the market that they are (de facto) bankrupt. Colin and George are now working as unpaid volunteers for the time being, and nobody knows for how long. They way they have treated the market and investors, I would guess a few months with less and less engagement and then they are out, with their $ tens of millions they got after dumping hard on their investors for years.

This /biz/ thread was the beginning of the end for them:

That is when they lost momentum. First time the spotlight was on utterly incompetent George, the lover of newly divorced Colin.

I think there is a resurgence of anti-nano sentiment because at this point in time blockchain has not yet learned how to be directed and acyclic. And I think we are going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place. Blockchain is not going to be the monolithic coins they once were in the last year. Nano is going to be at the centre of that. It’s a huge transformation for blockchain to make. They are now going into a directed acyclic mode and Nano will be resented because of its leading role. But without that leading role and without that transformation, blockchain will not survive.

I do believe the Bitgrail trustees still have millions of Nano, so when will those be dumped on the market?

>> No.56422026

i had my entire networth in nano(xrb) on bitgrail 2 days before they announced insolvency. i kyc'd and they let me withdraw while most people were stuck

was honestly considering buying some again. it should be the goat pure payment coin

>> No.56423161

>>56422026
According to threads I have read, only Americans and Nano Foundation members could withdraw from Bitgrail at that time, is that correct?

How? A 14 year old was able to DDoS the network last year. It seems that the architecture of Nano and similar projects doesn't provide an answer to spam.

im american so thats possible, i know a lot of people were having kyc and withdrawal problems at the time. i got very lucky
>>56423298

the archive link in your post has nothing that supports that claim
I expected something new, like a nearly empty wallet with lots of outgoing transactions and/or liquidated collateral on a lending platform, not some old shit from years ago

>They have no money left:
We do not want to kick-start a countdown so-to-speak of the last Ӿ300,000 which currently equals $188K so you will see the current funds being moved from the publicly available data - these funds have been loaned against over the year as our US bank of Silvergate was shutdown, not allowing us to liquidate with safe compliance and will be used to repay creditors.

we plan to build a new page on our official website where specific categories can be donated to, if people wish...The last transaction of the Dev Fund was a donation of Ӿ10 over 2 years ago >

nano failed in 2018, coincidentally the same time xrp failed, both completely skipping the last bullrun.

always dump your alts in the bull market. no alt survives a bear market to come back stronger.
