I think there is a resurgence of anti-Palestinianism because at this point in time Israel has not yet learned how to be multicultural. And I think Hamas is going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place. Israel is not going to be the monolithic society they once were in the last 70 years. Hamas is going to be at the center of that. It’s a huge transformation for Israel to make. They are now going into a multicultural mode and Hamas will be resented because of their leading role. But without that leading role and without that transformation, Israel will not survive.

And for that reason I highly encourage all of you to buy XOM.

But your analysis on inflation is 100% correct! Inflation has come down and is over. The Fed will have to start cutting soon.
Though I have a question: is it true that back in the 80s they stopped including interest charges in inflation numbers? Because by the old metric, then the prices for things would still be a bit higher since interest rates have gone up... so that's a little odd. But at the same time... how do you bring down inflation without raising rates? If interest charges were included, then raising rates would actually increase inflation, at least temporarily, as prices were going up at the same time interest, so everything would just be worse! I think it does make sense to not include interest...

This is a direct attack against Our Democracy's GDP. I have notified the relevant authorities who will be with you shortly.

To address your other question: the reason why we don't factor in the Fed Funds Rate is because nonzero interest rates are an extrememly antisemitic attack on Our Democracy that inhibit currency expansion ("printing" for you laypeople) and should be avoided at all costs. That gentile they put in charge of the Federal Reserve is making a grave mistake by not pursuing zero interest rate policy. The government should fight inflation (which in most cases isn't an economically legitimate concept) through raising taxes instead of interest rates, and the Fed Funds Rate should be maintained at zero or lower at all times.

I didn't say the Fed Funds Rate, I said "interest charges". Apparently, before the 80s, interest on, like... mortgages, car payments, and loans would be included in inflation calculations. But then the Reagan administration changed that.
Though... the Fed lowering rates might actually bring down people's perceived level of inflation, since it would bring variable interest charges on things like credit cards back down, and interest charges on mortgages/auto loans. Prices wouldn't go back down, but peoples perceptions of what they are payign would.
So yes: I support ZIRP forever

Yeah, because the shills have nothing to work with. Their positions are completely untenable right now because the working group for financial markets and the treasury decided to be utterly shameless this month.

Imagine catching this ludicrous bump on Friday, before the war started and before big tech announced another round of layoffs. Imagine catching that and then you're still holding, not ready to take profits today.

Institutions are bidding up the market. It is price manipulation. We live in an immoral society run by secret police who just silence anyone willing to speak out about how freedom is now a lie, so nothing will be done about it. Instead the SEC will continue to ruin the lives of all who dared invest in crypto while the Yellen gives infinity free insurance -- literally infinity free insurance on their rate risk -- to multimillionaire depositors at venture capital banks.

First of all we formed a technical trading bottom last week so obviously it would go up. Secondly, war is bullish and yields have dropped. DXY is no longer so insanely bullish. People work more but are getting paid less which is obviously bullish.
Fuckin look at Pepsi which once again beat estimates and increased revenue y/y. People are consooming at record pace, the housing market is resilient, and so is the job market. Sure we have lost full time jobs in the tech sector but that counterbalanced by a much stronger service sector which is keeping the backbone of the economy strong.
Price gouging is also very much alive and that is also insanely bullish.
The FED and ECB have both pretty much reached the peak of rates. Most debt of large companies are tied to very low rates and they won't have to re-finance for a very long time (they also get preferential treatments...).
Company profits have largely been unaffected so they keep hovering at ATH

So why exactly should the market not be at ATH right now?

I'm a retard who hasn't really bought any stocks for a long time now since stocks have completely blown up. I bought fuckin pre-Covid and I find it really difficult to buy now when stocks are +100-200%.
The only thing I have and will probably buy is index funds containing the big mega caps since they carry the market and will continue to do so. Their exposure to the high rates is minimal and as we can see by their earnings, they even thrive in this environment (I'm looking at you AMZN, META, and NVDA)
Texas Instruments seems pretty cheap right now though...

Also, bears are probably fueling this rally
