And? As long as you have quality companies and not the laggards with shitloads of debt, this just gives you another buying opportunity. Those trillions of dollars they are going to need to print to pay the debt have to go somewhere. And people NEED energy (oil+natgas) unlike plastic junk from China, streaming subscriptions, social media approval, questionable financial products, and whatever else (if anything) most of the rest of the S&P500 makes.

Well in the "blue chip" category I would recommend MRO. Big enough to have low production costs & geographical diversification (so no one state can fuck them over), small enough to be be sued by angry teenagers. Also they were doing buybacks while everyone else was doing divvies, good stealth move.

If you want something spicier CIVI is worth a look although their current CEO is all about ESG for some reason (maybe sucking up to the state gov...). They are a small Colorado producer with low debt that has been aggressively buying out bankrupt rivals and consolidating their field. Beware that they do have a higher production costs but they are natgas & propane heavy so oil price alone won't sink them.

ESTE was interesting but I don't get the vibe they'd survive a second big one. Their share situation is weird too, single entity has high %.

I don't hold PXD but they're also probably a good bet if prices drop enough. A lot more geographically consolidated but very efficient operations as a result.

Why today, of all fucking days, are retail bears absolutely foaming at the mouth?? It's actually kind of bizarre. I stand by my prediction of pic related, we're still crabbing around above the 200 dma and none of this nothingburger red is breaking through it. Honestly I think it's looking exactly like last year's October setup, which of course assblasted all the cocky bears claiming once again that the sky was falling. Guess we'll see.

Swords are air, Cups are water, Wands are fire, Pentacles are earth. The Magician possesses all four elements, and channels the energy of the cosmos/heavens to the material world. I don't know the specific query you were asking, but it doesn't seem to be a very auspicious reading. Neither is it all bad, the Eight of Swords is a deceptively happy card, in my opinion; the woman is blinded, seemingly surrounded by a prison of swords. And yet, the way out is wide open, if she simply has the faith to move onward.

I should mention I got the classic rider-waite illustrations since I liked the esoteric nature of them, but ironically I dont use them to their full effect. I was actually visualizing the magician and it ended up being the first I drew.
For my spreads, I do the cross to describe the state of the querant, and then the 3 cards build context for the future. I used to do it as challenge/action/outcome, but found it harder to read.
In this case I was asking about the market itself

>Car makers keep raising guidance and sales
>Retail is doing better than expected
>doomertards keep spouting the same ol' same ol'
Inexplicably, normies are living the high life and consoooming at a rapid pace. Industrial output is also just fine. Interestingly, copper keeps falling off the cliff. According to some anons here, copper should start consolidating and getting ready for an uplift soon since it is unprofitable at these ridiculous levels but I don't quite see that happening.
I don't know, I think I am gonna start slurping some quality companies at these levels even though I think the trend has now reversed and we should now be in a clear downtrend (according to the TA at least). Pepsi should close the gap at 161 and that's when I am gonna start slurping.
Hopefully Eli Lilly drops meaningfully.
As a europoor, I should also investigate whether it is possible to get into the US treasuries. Getting 5-6% guaranteed sounds too fuckin good. I know someone here suggested a way to acquire them.

Brooooos, come on. The only ok-looking index is the NASDAQ which can easily defy this trend and start mooning should something happen.
The Dow is fugged and has locked into a bad trend. It has completely reversed all the gains this year and is in the red for this year.

You have grown old and you no longer stimulate Mrs. Lum as you used to. She had to find someone else to satisfy her endless desires. Sorry to break it to you, son.
And there we have the 10 AM pump in the EU... hopefully it drops after lunch.
Do you guys reckon the ECB is gonna be forced to hike on account of the strong dollar? They risk the EUR getting hugely devaluated otherwise. But the inflation is slowing down (albeit from an ATH level so the real inflationary rate is much higher). Hmm, I do think we're gonna see another 25 bps

Inflationary rate is slowing down. The derivative is smaller and smaller which of course makes sense. Due to the comparison effect the inflation now is smaller than last year. That's just simple math. Come on m8.
Inflation is still extremely high and certain (a lot) categories are still way WAY higher than the target of 2%. The main reason for the slower rate of inflation is electricity prices which are getting severely heemed (almost free and sometimes the prices are negative)

Yeah, which is why the bonds would increase in price, but they are decreasng because of the US. I didn't think of that last week, I didn't expect it to be in global competition. I only thought of EU inflation and rate maybe having a slight impact but more the BNR rate.
