I unironically have this suspicion too, not 100% of what you're saying, but that there is something funky going on with these shares, synthetic shares, off exchange trades, shorts, where there is some sort of fraud going on, and that not only is the fraud present in GME but it is present across the entire market, only that GME was one of the most egregious / failed to cover their tracks
