I find it amazing that ripple is over 2 dollars going off of largely hype and you tubers promoting it and stellar is only at .31 cents, even after todays announcement. It really should have gone insane. There's no reason why this shouldn't easily be a dollar right now, severely undervalued.

Jesse Lund's Linkedin page lists a patent. I personally think it is related to Fairx. Michael Dowling is listed as an Inventor. Another Gentleman is also listed-who happens to be currently employed at Wells Fargo...

Here's the Quote for the patent description:

"Systems and Methods for Sending and Receiving Math-based Currency via Fiat Currency Account

Patent date Issued: Sep 1, 2016
Patent issuer and number: us 052873-0489

Patent description: An initiative of the Wells Fargo Innovation Lab to integrate demand deposit accounts directly with blockchain-based cryptocurrencies to improve the execution speed and efficiency of domestic and cross-border multi-currency transactions, payments, and remittances. "

Well the supply for stellar lumens is huge. Also Ripple is much more we’ll known by name, give it time. I see this in too 10 easy, maybe top 5, depending on how fairy works and how popular it is. The supply is huge, I'll give you that. But the announcement for this exchange is also huge. This is like ripple when it was .20 not long ago. If we hit 1, it's very easy for fomo to take us to 2. What you have to remember is a lot of people here are looking to make money, which means you have to look at the percentages. Ripple will have to hit nearly 5 for a new investor to double their money. Stellar only has to hit .60 and with the exchange around the corner that's not far fetched.

Fiat pairing, XLM ATMs, excellent fundamentals and mass adoption are what drives the value of Stellar.

i have kids, wife, house, job. and a job that periodically requires GSA background checks. i certainly don't want to get pinch for tax evasion. no fucking way i'd be able to get a good job if i was ever let go in the same field.

i've just been researching the tax stuff lackadaisically. then read the article that IRS subpoenaed coinbase users who transferred more than 20k. which i did at least once. it wasn't clear if it was only transaction over 20k or just cumulative transactions, 10k one month and 10k another month...

This is approaching points of finding better ways to avoid taxes. One being Puerto Rico. Which probably has some dirt cheap homes after that hurricane...

>hire a fucking tax advisor
If I hire a tax advisor, it could be demonstrated that I went against professional tax advice if they say to not use 1031 and if i go ahead and use 1031.

"Anon, you stated you hired a tax consultant and they advised 1031 was not recommended for crypto. Yet you filed like-kind for 2017? Sounds like you were willfully committing tax fraud."

Also, you can't say you didn't hire a tax consultant (if you did). Then you'd be guilty of lying out of the gate. Plausible deniability is something people throw out the window when they say "just deny it". Deny is just another word for lying when viewed from the governments view.

you won't regret it. LTC is a shitty old bitcoin fork and only goes up cause normies can buy it on GDAX. BTC is a fucking dinosaur cancer coin. Although, never underestimate the power of The King. XLM is objectively one of the most technologically sound coins. It's basically a better fork of ripple and ripple is at $100BB market cap right now. XLM is $5B. Even if it goes to a quarter of ripple's size it will be 5x'ing your money.
