I was a machine operator when I started, there was this giant pussy zoomer that was working in the mailing department that was supposed to take over for the boomer woman that works there now eventually. My cousin is the boss there and this zoomer is such a lazy piece of shit that my cousin pulled him in the office and talked to him about being more productive and to stop being such a smart ass to other employees. He took this as being belittling so he quit, but he didn't quit while my cousin was there, this little bitch waited until he left for the day and told the night manager he was quitting. Everyone wanted him gone anyway but this created a problem. Now there is nobody to take over in the mailing department so I got a promotion to that department. The woman who works there now, her husband has cancer , and he is going to probably have to go into surgery in a couple weeks and she will have to take off time from work to take care of him. The problem is this takes months to learn and I only have weeks so I have to be on my shit. The other problem is now the senior machine operators are fucking pissed because they really wanted my help on the floor. So basically everyone is fighting over me but the bosses finalized the deal and I'm definitely working in the mail department.

Oil is a bad investment for someone not swing trading and looking at cycles. You look at things in black and white. Oil can become more scarce but if demand drops it doesn't matter. I would faster hold stock in tesla, a lot of auto companies are going to fade away and this UAW strike was just the beginning. We are going to witness the auto industry go downhill worse then after the 2007 bailouts and obama cash for clunkers programs. Meanwhile tesla is building a real world SAAS system around transportation, the cybertruck will displace the ford as goofy as the thing looks. It doesn't matter if recession grows, tesla has a subscription model that can absorb constant cash flows from the wealthy that aren't effected as much and can afford tesla use. Tesla will outperform every oil company in 10 years and buying tesla now is like amazon stock in 2000 after the dotcom crash. Oil investors on this general think they are hotter shit then they are when they can't see obvious large trend changes and chase them. Not one uranium or oil poster here will link to a personal blog where they show analysis and discuss previous successful trades around commodities they did because they are trying to game a market they have no understanding of and even boring index fund/bond holders will beat them at their game.

Tesla's can just go up in flames at any given moment, the nations power grid can't handle all the electric cars and if it were able to, it would require fossil fuels to power the charging stations in the first place. City scum will move to more electric vehicles but the rest of the nation will always drive gas powered vehicles. If the UAW nonsense gets out of hand, the they'll just move the factories to Mexico anyway which will make the labor cheaper.

>teslas go up in flames
>the grid cant handle all the electric cars
These are zerohedge tier talking points and they have been wrong for a decade. Tesla strategy is maximizing profits on lesser cars and they are ahead of the curve compared to the rest of the industry cause the rest of the industry is paid off in some way like ford and GM or their models aren't driven by maximizing profits off lesser cars cause they have cash flows outside consumer vehicles like toyota or honda does. I'm sure in 2040 there will still be complainers about teslas when it has a marketcap around the current national debt.
>move the factories to mexico
This is some kind of thinking you would have 2 decades ago. Manufacturing has moved beyond this, its about downsizing rather then just pick up and move games. This isn't the 90s where ampad was sold out and private equity took the scraps first.

Maybe. Their invoostment strategist writes a weekly newsletter and obviously legit knows her shit very well, and the regular improvements all through the platform have been pretty promising. The 24 hour/5 day a week trading has already gone from 43 STOOKS and ETFs to 95 and that's sure to be a draw as it gets better and better. There's some pretty weighty cons too, so it's not without some substantial headwinds. I reckon if I dealt in STOOKS INVOOSTMENT rather than NATGAS swings I'd DCA into them some, but I think DE is one of the better long term INVOOSTMENTS that there is and would more focus there instead.

Compare that to when they hit the gold mine with Frozen back in 2013. How do you fuck up so much in a single decade? Its gonna take Disney Renaissance 2.0 to save their asses at this point.

22 was insane because of the Russia shit and the EU was essentially 100% dependent on them (particularly Germany), then not only was there Russia playing games shutting the flow off and on with claims of maintenance, but the pipe got blown up and NATGAS soared. The EU bought a shitload of it in fears of freezing that Winter, but the Winter wound up being the most mild since the mid 1800s I think it was, so a shitload of gas went into the underground storage injections and put them at all time highs, so there's a glut of supply right now awaiting demand to rebalance everything.

Look man I know it's fun to get the oil and gas guys all pissed off talking about electric anything, believe me I've done it several times myself. But it's been done to death a million times. EV's are fine if you're suburban or in a city and don't drive much and they can be cheaper to maintain than an ICE vehicle, but ICE vehicles are literally never ever going away and are still vastly superior if you have to go a long distance or deal with extreme temperatures. The constant shitfit bickering between ICE and EV lovers is just stupid at this point, both have their place, and the fastest levels of motorsports that aren't drag racing already use hybrid systems to go faster than they ever have before. Even in the drag racing scene the EV guys are making some good progress.

Save the chimpouts for during the week when the market is bleeding out or raping bears to death however it goes.

Personally I'm waiting for when electrified turbos start getting mainstream because it's going to end the EV ragebaiting immediately. Push a button and energy stored from the turbo running normally from exhaust pressure can be used to spin the turbine up, it's exactly how the system in F1 works so it's a matter of time until it trickles down. There's already people that have done it on streetcars. Other manufacturers put the motor assembly on the crankshaft so it generates electricity the entire time the motor is running and that electricity can be used to rev up the engine directly. People get so caught up in the current thing and shitty heavy batteries making pure EV's suck that they don't see farther than that.

You can have individual failed cells replaced for a lot less money the same way you can have a transmission rebuilt instead of buying a new one. Tesla are just the apple of EV's so they don't do battery repairs, they just replace them and expect people to pay for them. That's a valid complaint about EV's and Tesla were also massive faggots about letting people repair their own vehicles, and without Rossmann and a bunch of farmers being pissed off at John Deere and making a federal case about it you still wouldn't be able to repair a tesla on your own. They still go after repair shops to this day. Tesla is worth shitting on, EV's as a concept aren't except in the concept that is treating them like they're iphones.

That's fair. I do motorsport for a living so I've gotten to fuck around with some cool EV's and hybrids and can see past the culture war bullshit. I would honestly rather invest in ford or mercedes benz if you want an EV portfolio, they're both making big strides with it and have a serious focus on it. They're also both trying to not have to be stuck with pure battery powered ev's and are looking at hybrid tech like what I described earlier in the thread as a more palatable option for end users to get better performance and fuel economy. Tesla is a bit of a meme in the EV world and they get roundly shat on all the time, I avoid them because I am a gearhead and would rather build my own with a crate engine EV kit from a real and established OEM.
