The dev said the reason why is because hes spent $1000 on 4chan passes so far, which was fine when jannies only banned him a week for spamming. But lately they have just been deleting his passes completely. So instead of making gook moot richer, if jannies are going to keep fucking him and not even let him have an NCM general, he would rather pay $20 for a proxy that will get a week long ban for spamming, instead of $20 for a pass that keeps instantly jeeted.

He keeps ranting about the new Elon Musk biography and how hes going to improve the codebase and reduce the costs. Honestly makes sense to me, why buy 4chan passes when you can get a better deal buying proxies.

I don't know if you know, but the entire premise of NCM is that they've built 4ChanGPT and TwitterGPT. It's very alpha but they are upgrading every day. So this goes perfectly with the plan laid out in the whitepaper.

The other day when NCM was dominating the board, it was all bot posts by their 4ChanGPT bot. /biz/ didn't realize it was bots because their bot is so good and they made up some schizo theory about the dbonk devs switching to NCM. But it's just a really good bot and 4chan passes and proxies to make it look like a bunch of different users shilling.
