working from home comes with downsides
>live with parents and siblings while also working from home
>because of this everyone uses me as the errand guy
>we need a plumber? oh no worries, anon works from home he can use his lunch break to deal with him in the middle of the week
>dad needs meds? oh no worries, anon can pick up meds in the middle of the day during his lunch break
>brother needs to sell something on facebook marketplace but doesn't have the time to meet the seller? oh no worries, anon will deal with him during his lunch break
>dad needs to call the bank but their call centre is only open during work hours? no worries, anon will pretend to be dad and call them during his lunch break
>get sick of the bullshit and tell everyone to fuck off
>get told the same sob story about how they all work 5 days a week and have commitments after work and on the weekend
>meanwhile i don't have many friends and many commitments (which is intentional) so i should have no problem dealing with all their shit, and i could use the human interaction experience (again, because i don't have friends)

Working from home is great but for those with big families that are home all day it sounds like it can suck.

>brain feel bad
>post nonsense copypasta
>smile at weak stream of (You)s
>feel good for 5 seconds
>immediately contemplate killing self again
this is you. this is your life. dr. shekelstein is right: this sort of behavior is not the path forward. you are, once again, looking for the "easy" way out. you are, once again, avoiding your problems. take your FUCKING meds. your mother is worried SICK about you.

Go sit somewhere in public or rent a small office space. It will be worth it to get away from your annoying family. Make the office cozy. Your own retreat. You might even be able to write it off. Or maybe sit in the back yard or in your car in a parking lot.

Now you understand why boomers begged to go back to the office, they hate their families. I WFH with my gf who does the same and she drains my balls whenever I need.

You can always lock the door to your room/office and then ignore any requests. If they give you any lip, ask them if they run errands during their job. No? Neither do you. Then establish times they're allowed to communicate with you which will limit requests. Turn your phone off, if you must. It works.
